Thanks guys, very pleased with the results! If any of you purchase a set at SDCC, could you take a picture for me? I don't have mine yet and I've only seen a couple photos of them ....thanks!

from dan@unbox: Quote: The Gummi sets will be available from our site in the next 7-10 days.
Don't worry about missing out, we made a lot of figures and will keep producing until the mold quits.

Although I'll be buying these for me, I think they will be absorbed by my daughter's toy pile.

Re: Greasebat & Friends GUMMI play set
My cousin's grandson has some developmental / vision problems. he's a 5 year old "special needs" child. Sweet as can be & I've seen him play with other small toys with no problems. I know the label says "not for children under 14", but is there any real problem with giving these to a 5 yo?? i think he would enjoy them as a playset + the bright colors. I'm going to show them to my cousin, but would appreciate any comments from any SB members who own them. thanks.

Re: Greasebat & Friends GUMMI play set
Hello carlisle60, thanks for your interest. The "under 14" is not really a rock solid "rule". These guys are smallish and rubbery, they present a choking hazard. Other than that, they are safe- no toxic paints or materials.
I don't have a set myself yet, I should be getting mine this week. But as long as he doesn't routinely stick toys in his mouth, he should be fine. My own daughter never did that, some kids do, some don't.
I hope it works out for you, if there are any issues acquiring a set, let me know.

Re: Greasebat & Friends GUMMI play set
Thanks for the reply! I've ordered him a orange set ( even though i like the pink better). I don't think there will be any problem with him having them. He's going to have a hard enough life as it is , so hopefully Greasebat & friends will provide him many hours of "monster fighting" joy. Thanks for releasing such a nice set.

I saw these up close at SDCC. A great job on the details of the sculpts. Excellent header too. All around a fun set.

Re: Greasebat & Friends GUMMI play set
Thanks guys. On a side note- the producer just informed me the size is a little larger than normal to make them less choke-able , and the material is totally toxin free. All Unbox stuff is made to high standards in ethical, approved factories. Can't wait to get mine!

Ordered mine in pink.
Also read a mini review that said these feel like the classic japanese keshi eraser material. Which is just awesome. I like pvc mini figures but keshi material is so much more fun.

Thanks to the success of these guys, we're planning another set. In fact, I'm supposed to be drawing it up right now! They probably won't be in the cute style though, still working on that.

Re: Greasebat & Friends GUMMI play set
Nice. Im super excited. Couldnt decide between the orange and pink set, so got both. It would be interesting to have a cute set, and a tough set. Also looking forward to potentially having building sets, or vehicle sets.
