how long will this salamander joe hype endure, estimately?
i have seen many a skullbrain hype die before, and i don't want to spend a godzillion amount of cash on something that is a passing faze (i.e., everything). so please, pm me when this hype dies down, because i really want one of these!

i have succumbed to the idea that everything catching heavy prices here or on ebay is due to hype.
i sometimes forget to realize that it is due to people acutally really really REALLY digging a figure like this, as i do.

You know what I'm saying. I think the Joe above all else has a quality to it that could easily have been satisfying 30 years ago, let alone 30 years from now.

i believe hype is when a bloke pays $xxxx to fund the flippers selling 'hot-off-the-press' half-arsed toys and figures, keeping them for a good few months and then re-selling them to get newer ones. i never figured that out in 'collectors'
that d-con joe's sweet, but $600 at the 'mass-consumerist's-market'? wow. moving along, here's looking forward to upcoming PK releases as much as other companies' that's got heat

holy hells, jimmy! or more aptly... holy hells, paul!! that's one fine sally! is that a milky white base vinyl?

The Sally looks like a clear base vinyl to me, but I am not 100% sure on that.
And yes, that is one fantastic Salamander Joe!

Not vinyl but resin and is held in with magnets.
