Re: Deadbeet
I gotta say, as indifferent as I was to this toy, and as vitriolic as some of the comments have been, this custom show has some BIG names... someone out there is watching out for this toy, it seems.

You probably wouldn't know it from hanging out in this thread (and a few others on this site.) But the vast majority of folks choose not to denigrate other peoples efforts.

Re: Deadbeet
... it's always good to see other people's take on an existing toy all at once in a group show like this; especially when it involves so many varied customs. My fave is by PJ Constable. SO SO SO much effort put in! - sculpted additions, great paint app...: ...Wayyyy outta my league price wise - US600, but it turned me on to PJ; who seems to be a damn good toy customiser. Anyone else have a 'standout' piece?

Re: Deadbeet
As much as I appreciate the level of skill sculpt wise with the additions, I just prefer figures non altered now a days.
Great looking show none the less. I think the PK and NEB5 would make a nice set.

Rich wrote: As much as I appreciate the level of skill sculpt wise with the additions, I just prefer figures non altered now a days. ...makes perfect sense. I do to, normally, unless what is done changes the piece as much as PJ did. Adding a pot alone? Meh. But the extra details that PJ added... LOVE IT.
