The white vinyl these where painted on was orderd last year. At the time I didn't think the demand would be as high as it was gonna be for this release. Like Paul has found, I'm gauging interest and was able to adjust the run size to accommodate more collectors going forward.

As the few I talk with regularly outside the boards know I put in 17 hour days between my day job, working on toys, and squeezing in some personal time. There are times where I forget who I'm talking with, ask Joe lol.

Kaji does this full time so it's easier for him to do larger runs. I only wish I can do this for a living.

Again I truly am sorry I couldn't make more for you guys this round. But going forward I will do my best to make sure more get in.

There will be spot store sales as well as lotteries. This was the first painted release since last October so there really hasn't been the oppertunity yet.

I appreciate all the support and interest. Trust me when I say this, I feel terrible having to let a long time collector know they lost. There is nothing worse.

I increased my release number.
Many people won who don't EVEN READ SB.

Some people will just assume the vinyl world revolves around SB no matter what you do.
Then people don't know what it's like to have paint 30 toys and keep good quality either.
The you make too many toys, and you're a SELLOUT or something.

So whatever. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

That's why it'd be nice to have some SB exclusives every once in a while

One thing you have to consider is rules of this board.

Don't be sorry Rich- you're handling this really well. I don't think people realize what all goes into it all to make these toys (I admit I forget myself, and apologise for it), the costs, both money-wise and time wise. The fact that the artists have lives of their own (and I think the majority have day-jobs too) and aren't painting 24 hours a day. (But I'm with you in wishing I could produce toys for a living- I'm tired of being a Mechanic.) It's good to hear you're getting a better idea of the demand for Ollie. I didn't get picked for this lottery, but thats ok. There will always be the next release, or someone who did get one will find they need to sell it and maybe I'll luck out then. The limited-availability of these toys is a part of this hobby, without it I think there'd be a lot less interest in the hobby as a whole. The same can be said for lottery releases too.

And Paul's right too- you can't please everyone. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't... BUT, you shouldn't have to tell a long-time collector "No"; they should know how these things work.

And if people are moaning that there wasn't enough Frankenruge to go around, you can always do another release with the red and blue reversed.

Well, I am bummed that I didn't win but I hope both Rich and Paul know how much we love their work. I'm sure at times we sound like a bunch of moaners and that probably isn't helped by the anti buttkissing vibe here. With such small runs the emo side of things can get a bit more press than the happy winners but don't forget... we only wan't one because they are such great toys. Thanks for the chance Rich and I promise not to call you guys sellouts if you do bigger runs!

Kickstarter Ollie just arrived and I am floored! Ollie is on clear pink vinyl with metallic blue and pink and silver sprays and the Sludge Demon is on clear blue glitter vinyl. More pics to come when I get a chance.

Got my unpainted yellow ollie. Dude stands up to the sculpts of any japanese kaiju comapyn out there. Serious weapons grade sofubi. Pix later

All kickstarter stuff is now out as well as all yellow unpaints !

If any one gets any paint chips or issues contact me. If there is anything I can fix it's no problem.

And Jeffs set was all clear vinyl, the pink is sprayed from the inside and out to look clear pink, AND painted to match the evil count Barnaby lucha bear.

Well you had me fooled but under careful inspection, I can see now that it was clear vinyl sprayed from the inside. Unbelievable!

I love how different the collections are. They all look so unique inside each collection. Each shot gives an over all different feeling.

And I Iove how the Sludge Demons really do add to the big guy. Some don't like the Sludge Demon, but this will always be my favorite MVH toy. He is my mascot, how could you not love that little face
