Just got a bunch of these 2 new colours in the mail today! Blank Blue GIDs will be for retailers.. might try and paint up a bunch of them at some point.

Question, are they blue and GID, or actually glow blue? If it's the latter, I'm really looking forward for a painted release!

Real deal glow blue! Not as bright as pure GID, more like the glow blue you would get on Care Bears etc.

First test of the Cheestroyer with resin guts came through over the weekend. We are hoping to do different coloured resins and have mixed parts/different paint rubs for the kickstarter supporters.



Been messing around with some paint ideas as well..

Finished these guys up last night with a GID variant.. I'm really enjoying painting these and I'm getting more familiar with painting specific areas of the sculpt and certain techniques that work here and there. Still learning but I'm definitely getting into a groove with these guys.

Also, I forgot to post here but I attempted some Bikkuriman style artwork ages ago for the Kickstarter and Hiramoto was nice enough to re-do it for me in his excellent style!!

The resin inserts worked out so well, and it's no wonder because Double Haunt was super careful making sure everything fit just right when he started sculpting them. There's even a little latch system in place so that the spinal column locks into the brain so that it sits just right

The artwork looks Rob Liefeldish aka how the proportions are well out of proportion.

One noticeable thing is that every version is such a blatant ripoff of other versions. It seems so forced. I like the occasion homage but it'd be refreshing to see an original version now and again.

Fair enough on the Liefeld comment, I didn't even draw his legs!

Finally sending out the last batch of rewards from last year's Kickstarter campaign, the Clear with Guts version. We had initially planned on releasing these with paper guts inserts and making a small batch of resin guts as the 'chase' version of the toy, but because there were delays we ended up just making resin guts for everybody in random assortment of mixed parts in White, Green and Pink.

The second photo below is from a kickstarter supporter who got his toy yesterday! I swipe it from his instagram it's a great pic!!

Time for the second Cheestroyer toy

Eric Nilla has been working on a Cheestroyer keshi for the past couple of months.. He will have some at Dcon if you're in town and I'll have a lucky bag release for Supanova comic con here in Australia with a bunch of different colours (some seen below)

Some pieces don't translate so well to such a small sculpt size, and in this current keshi movement, there are many examples of those. BUT these are Great! The design works so good that, Ha, I'm not sure which size I like more now actually. I especially like the solid colored ones but w' different solid colored shells.

Very cool! Sure hope I can get my hands on 1... or 2. Maybe 3

Thanks for the comments Eric did an awesome job with this guy, I thought it would be quite a challenge but he knocked it out of the park! Can't wait to have a pocketful of these guys for myself..
