Post So according to info@kawsone.com
...both the Bronze Accomplice and Dissected were already released at OriginalFake. Does anyone have details - pictures of the pearl version - or manage to get one? Ronnie? I'm not saying I'd have stepped up, but I am surprised that I didn't hear about them actually being sold. Am I hopelessly out of the loop on this?

TRUE!!

The Accomplice was SOLD and SOLD OUT during Golden Week I believe.
At that time I asked when the Dissected was going on sale and he said the end of the month. When I went in on Saturday to buy the Wood the Dissected was already SOLD OUT? I think they only had three to sell though. Maybe ten in total? He told me last time I just don't remember the exact numbers or where they were.

Thanks for the info, guys. I'm dying to see a picture of the pearl one. And is there a second color of the Accomplice?

I remember the two colors for the dissected for sure. I don't remember the Accomplice. Original Fake doesn't allow picture taking in the shop so sorry no pictures

I brought this guy back with me from Tokyo. This is a pic from my hotel room. It's been over a month now - dropped in early May. I love it very much...

Beautiful figure, but (as I think I said in another thread) I actually prefer the box. Very cool.

Thanks, guys. I've actually been surprised we haven't seen any pics of this piece, so I decided to put one up. I didn't want to call much attention to my particular acquisition of it, so I've not posted anything on it until now. I had tracked it since I heard whispers of it late last year. I've been surprised how little info and how much 'misinformation' there was out there about the bronzes. I have five other friends who were able to get a bronze sculpture (3 pearl/2 black)...most of them traveled to Tokyo, but a couple got 'em direct through KAWS...

Totally, Everlast has a 'black' one. He actually got 'em in a couple of weeks ago. He's got a set of the 'black' version bronzes. Both #8/10. He didn't go to Tokyo; he got 'em direct from KAWS.

The best bit of info that I can share is that it will be available on kawsone.com either very late this month or early next month. OF 'may' have sold their share. Mine is coming from there. They essentially took 'pre-orders' because the item is so big (the box is 5 feet tall) that the pieces will be delivered, not available for pick-up. I would say that if you're interested, keep tabs on kawsone.com - they might send out an announcement like they did for the black bear. At approximately $2500 USD, I don't think they'll be gone in a blink, but I'd get in there as quickly as possible if you want one :)

Yo, Ronnie! Good to know! So, are these huge fellas actually vinyl? I would have to assume (and hope) that they're made out of something else, like fiberglass.

Nat, I've heard they are made from the same materials as the mega-giant dissected Companion at OF. It's some sort of harder plastic, but not fiberglass. I learned that the same guy who Murakami used for his really large sculptures a little while back is the same dude who helped KAWS realize the mega-giant. I will have to see it up close. It will be a little while till I have it on-hand, probably in July. I've heard really good things about the quality and such, so I think it'll end up being durable. Total box weight is 35 kilos/77 lbs.

Very nice score, pirovino.

Does anyone have said picture of Everlast? I'd like to see that.

I am very certain the giant Companions are not vinyl, but a hard-type of plastic.

Here's the pic of Everlast with his bronze Accomplice:
