1. yeah he's amazing sculptor
2. wooden labbits may be made next year-Tropical nara wood .
3. If Belchor project goes well the next giant 30" will be a tribute to Doublas...
'Douglas'. This guy that has like one of the few real ones supplied me great reference pix.
4. that was the giant Mao box. Belchor will have a similiar box.

WOW so does that mean it's still possible to get one? I didn't make it on the list cause I was "cash impaired" at the time.

Frank,
A) Have you decide on a paint scheme on this?
B) Is he going to be slightly pot-bellied or will he be smoothed out some?
C) What moveable parts will he have?
Thanks

Just checkin' in. Got back from SDCC at 740 this am. Wasted. Talked to Mr. K about Belchor, still want in, got it covered despite Con. Will rob liquor stores even if I do live in a right to carry state. If they don't hit an artery with return fire, I'm good with this. More difficult, even have permission from the wife. Yeah, bring Belchor on!
-Steve from the Midwest, good to meet ya Frank!

I think you can see one with a paint job in the trailer for TOY PUNKS.

Rommel the sculptor/maker was at SDCC for 1 quick day. Super nice guy. He said all the Bigazzes where cast and are now being painted and sanded. As soon as they are done I am sure he will send some pics then they hit they boat bound for here. I will update as soon as I hear word. Thanks for your patience, these guys are big , 100% handmade AND complicated so its taking a while.

Got my VP Belzor in the mail (finally; long chase!) today. Very psyched about Belchor! Does anybody have data on how fiberglass and resin handle extremes in heat and cold? I live in Minnesota and was toying (heh) with the idea of Belchor becoming a Garden God in his own shelter/ structure...probably not my best idea, but I am curious about this.

it should be OK, as these are sealed and painted with automotive quality polyurethane paints. UV degradatio0n would kick in after a while, just like a car finish. Although u could 'wax' it occasionally I guess.

So it's probably cool, but I'd be better off making a cart (Jagunatha) for it and just dragging it around the block while chanting loudly. Of course that will only be on Holy Days of my own invention and strictly for the moral edification of my neighbors. The rest of the time he would repose in stately elegance in The World's Smallest Studio, being feted with garlands and the smoke of rare incense.
And beer.
