Had to sign up for one of these (got on email list at this site). This design is what I think of as the archetype raygun. Looks nicely faithful - I assume the album photo was of an original. When I saw Daisy as one of the names on it, I thought it might be a BB pistol, but it's a sparker.

No price or edition size info, details and pre-order email announcement is to come within the month.

(But not made with 200 parts, glass vials and French-fitted velvet cases like the 'Dr. Grordborts Infallible Aether Oscillators' linked above, so presumably nothing like $700! Thanks for that link, though - Those are impressive.)

Although I haven't checked in the last year or so, I was tracking the originals on ebay for a while. Unless they were totally pristine, there was a big price spread. Might still be worth shopping around. Also, Life In a Bungalow had an article a little further back in time about hand-blown glass rayguns... very swank. Dug 'em the most.
But your choice is infallible, your taste impeccable: the classic Ur-raygun speaks most forcefully!
