I wish I was in town. Not onky for the RxH fest, but for Uglycon. Ugly Dolls rule and so does Mr. Horvath.

I just drove by SF Giant Robot, where the Uglycon will be tomorrow. At 9pm, Friday, December 7, there were already 3 "tween" girls sitting cold on the sidewalk outside the store's door in line for tomorrow night. Amazing.
I live around here and would never have a child of mine on the street, especially 1/2 block off Haight Street and a block from Golden Gate Park for any collectable. Pretty hardcore uglies!
I also called the store today and spoke to the manager. They will give out tickets to those in line, according to their position in line, around 2-4pm tomorrow. I thought I would go with my son, but it may be a madhouse. Doesn't David know that kids will be exposed to the weather (and much much more)? They told me today also that they wanted to have a "little bit of a line" just to show the "seriousness" of the event.
I hope no one gets assaulted or worse overnight. Perhaps we should get some skullbrainers to go by tonight, just to scare them with the kaiju attitude?
Guess not.

I gave those kids and their parents my hotel room around the corner and stayed somewhere else so they wouldn't freeze and they lost their place in line. We passed out tickets so we could do away with the line so no idea why they told you we wanted a line.

It's weird for sure, even more so for me since I'm used to the 20's right now. I'm not complaining, I hate shoveling!
