 cast yr vote for toy of the year at collectionDX C'mon guys, maxtoy is up for two spots and one of them is eyezone (the other is balbagon) eyezone has 9% of the vote, but two transformer toys are beating him by not too much. cast yr vote and make mark the winner!

well, yeah, that was the whole idea.....i dont generally care about these things either so much, it's just when i went to read the article on mark's ultraman collection, i noticed the poll on the sidebar and thought, hmmm, wonder who's winning? voted for my fave, which just happened to be eyezone and when i saw the results, i said, no way is some stoopid transformer gonna win toy of the year so i thought i'd enlist some aid to make sure that didn't happen

When we had TOTY over at Toybox DX, there was much kvetching about the Transfans coming to the site and voting for Optimus Prime, or the Macrossworlders coming over and stuffing the ballot box for the latest Yamato fiasco.
Eventually the guy running TOTY started allowing just the people who were already registered in November to vote.
Then the guy who ran TOTY dropped off the face of the Earth.
(I don't remember the point I was trying to make, but just enjoy the story.)

We'd love to have more of the skullbrain type stuff over on CDX - I know a few of our writers get some of it but its mostly Kaiju type stuff...
If you guys want to see more of it on CDX - Contribute.
And all the other TOTY votes - I think they were too much work and people hated to do it. Yes, there will be ballot box stuffing, so what?
Next week is the final category - the $100+ category...
