I'll be there... Personally, I just can't get past the "man hands" so I'm picking one up for Jordan23 on the KR board.

I don't think this figure is going to be all that well-received, except among people who are already fans of the artist's work. The Tiger Baby design had much broader appeal.

they sold 8 of the black colorway tonight. the rest will go up on Sam's site later. There was one custom "supergirl" fatima, and more customs to come tomorrow. I was promise one so I will post picture here when I get my custom.

Dogs and beer are always a good thing. Especially when the big yellow dogs walk up to you.
I think only 4 of the black colorways got into the hands of the general public...

I have a feeling that the one on ebay is one of the ones that were sold before the doors even opened... one guy walked away with two signed black ones.

I don't think it was actually up for sale... maybe just to show what it looks like.
I see that all the yellows sold out.

Sam's art is pretty cool, but I'm not feeling these at all. There foreheads look retarded. The two with bangs and flowers on top aren't so bad though. But they're still a step down from the tigerbaby, IMO.

I like the look of this toy but it is very cheaply made. I think it is a big step down from the tigerbaby purely based on vinyl quality. Fatima feels like a toilet plunger.
I still want them all but I am disappointed. I hope all of Ning’s toys are not made this cheaply.
