Robert, the green one kind of looks like different shades in a few of the pics -- is it closer to the brighter green, or olive drab? Thanks!

More O.D. than anything else. I'll have to replace those pix when I get the chance. It's busy here now with orders and all but it's the good kind of busy
BTW ToysREvil is doing a CRZ fan art contest. See details below

FYI if you drag your mouse over the mushroom spots on the homepage logo you can see the diff sections.

It might be a good idea to put all of those purchasing links on one page and name it something like "buy" or "store." Ideally you don't want users more than two clicks away from sending you money. Just my .02.

The way my body feels right now from packing all them boxes, I'd say the number of clicks are doing juuust fine. even my fingernails hurt. I have a new found respect for the S7 packing crew.

There is a way. Retailers that buy from us are not bound to sell the GID as part of the set. I do this so that there is a bit of incentive to buy from the retailers. The thing is the price will most like be higher. Check Rotofugi, Panik's Toy Box and Vinyl Fallout. I have a long list but those ones come to mind right away.

Well, I got my superset Friday...overall, they're dynamite toys. I'm very pleased with these figures--they're not perfect, but as the first offering from Robert/Atomic Mushroom, I'm damn impressed!
For the record, I too was only intending to pick up the Plutonium version...so I just bought the set and asked around who wanted the others! Pretty simple. My friends snapped up the others pretty much immediately.
Anyway, they toy is as great as you'd imagine it is, so I'll focus on my minor gripes. First, I would really have liked to have seen more articulation. The waist and shoulders are nicely done...but simply adding rotation in the forearms would have done wonders for the figure's overall poseability. I mean, the design is screaming for a punching pose or a superman-esque flying pose. In fact, I'm even considering buying some ball-joints and doing some surgery...
Also, a joint to allow the head to rotate woulda been cool, even if a little tough to work into the design (to mask the ugly joint, some panel lines would have to be moved around). Head rotation isn't necessary, but it woulda been nice icing on the cake.
Other than the articulation, my only other minor beef was in the glow power. It's cool that the figure is *white*, not simply unpainted glow vinyl. As such, it looks gorgeous under normal light. The problem is that however Robert pulled it off, the glow power isn't particularly impressive. Sure, it glows nicely on its own, but next to a regular glowie, it's sorta lacking.
I'm curious as hell: Robert, how was the glow accomplished with this toy? I'm not sure if it's white vinyl infused with glow powder (strontium aluminate), glow vinyl painted translucent white, or what. It honestly reminds me of the Super7 glow Kittyfire...but I'm not sure how that one worked either! The Glowologist is stumped!
Anyway, all in all, it's a great piece. Believe me, these issues are minor at best. At this pricepoint, I'm *VERY* satisfied with the purchase and I'm definitely looking forward to more!
Check out CollectionDX's gallery of "Plutonium" here. A full review is coming soon!

Thanks Sanjeev. I'm glad you brought up those points. Articulation: We did allot of tests on the spot you mentioned. The result was the figure settling into an aesthetically unpleasing posture. There just isn't enough material there to hold the forearms weight. Rotation on the legs also resulted in the figure not standing properly. The factory recommended that if we wanted additional articulation they could injection mold the ball joints to do it but that would drive the price point up considerably. I gathered very quickly when I got into vinyl collecting that articulation wasn't a first concern to fellow collectors so we opted to go the safe route. Articulation on the head is simply out of the question since my design for CRZ's head was fixed ( it was never designed to rotate in any way) ala Gigantor of the 60's.
Glow vinyl: I have no idea how GID vinyl is formulated Chinese glow vinyl seems to be mixed with less glow material compared to Japanese vinyl. This maybe a cost saving practice but it's more expensive either way as far as vinyl material goes. I have both Chinese and Japanese vinyl and can only tell you that this is just the way it is. LOL but I think you're still in Revoltech, Soul of Chogokin, Gundam mode. Ya gotta think vinyl man

Hehe, thanks for the quick, concise feedback, Robert!
Yeah, I figured the articulation issue had to do with structural limitations (I'm a mechanical engineer by trade!). Still...a toy nerd can dream, right??
And, yeah, I totally understand about the head not turning. Keep in mind this is me dreaming again...but how about this: maybe the eyes can be a separate rotating piece inside the head...a piece that you could turn somehow from the outside to simulate his eyes moving side to side!?
Hehe...of course, as a fan, I have no obligation to think about budgeting!
But you ain't kidding about Chinese glow vinyl, huh? Interesting stuff. Yeah, the more I examine my Plutonium C-R0, the more it seems that the material is just very different from traditional glow vinyl. I'm pretty convinced it's normal vinyl infused with either the strontium- or zinc-based powders.
Hehe...you know I love me some robot! But, hey, I'm not a complete stranger to vinyl bots...especially glowie ones!
Anyway, you've definitely raised the bar on independent toy design/manufacture, and you've managed to put out something unique...something through which we can easily see your passion. Nicely done! I look forward to more!

Damn straight, man!
Hey, if you're gonna blow the doors off people's expectations with such a genre-crossover toy, might as well think BIG!
