 Dokuwashi
I love the Dokuwashi, and with the recent S7 lucky bag release it got me thinking back to last years releases. So my question is will there be another dokuwashi release? I think it is such a cool figure and would love to see some more releases.

 Re: Dokuwashi
Ah your wife has good taste then. I want a blue unpainted one. Does anyone know if the black one came painted? If so I want that one aswell!! New clears plain colours or even crazy glitter ones whatever would be cool. Its a very different kinda sculpt.

 Re: Dokuwashi
i think the BLACK one is JUST a proto - a tad taller than the production ones and NEVER came painted at all
and ill agree - clears and clear glittered or even (rxh)bubbled Dokuwashis would rule the roost over here!

 Re: Dokuwashi
doku is one of my favorite flynn figures. would love to see some more variants. also wish i would've bought one of the handpaints from sdcc last year, but there were just too many other things to buy at the convention...

 Re: Dokuwashi
Dokuwashi is my favorite Flynn toy, as well, but Visighost is a close second. I'd love to see a clear purple one. I've seen 1 or 2 handpaints in collection photos that I wish I owned, too.

 Re: Dokuwashi
ilmuffino, I have just scored a clear visighost. I am waiting for it to arrive. I didnt know how big they were untill I saw it against something else recently. And I have a soft spot for invisible clear . Its funny how the size of this made me more interested. ANd funny you should mention a purple clear dokuwashi. Because I wasnt that into the clear purple thing until recently I got a deal from a board member on a purple rxh cat and i also got the ichibanboshi galtan too and i really like them. So a purple clear doku would be great. and while im rambling id like to say how much i like the clear green claws on the ichibanboshi galtan. they is cool! excuse the layout here my keyboard is playing up Azjpeg, ahh being able to go to a convention. i can only dream at the moment as i am in australia. maybe when you go to the next i could shove you a fist full of dollars

 Re: Dokuwashi
I'd actually like solid, unpainted versions of Bump and a Six-shooter to complete the "proto" set from last year's lucky bag...

 Re: Dokuwashi
I've got a painted blue SDCC and an unpainted black. They are my favorites from that whole Ghostland thing. Need more. Also, how about a story book or animated short that ties all the characters together?

 Re: Dokuwashi
While we're talking Dokuwashi's, does anyone else have a painted blue SDCC version that "leans?" I'm pretty sure I've seen it in other's collection photos...or am I the only one? My black & pink versions both stand perfectly straight... but the SDCC guy looks like he's slightly buzzed.
Also, pink Dokuwashi was what started my kaiju fascination.

 Re: Dokuwashi
FWIW - I'd love to see a new version of this too. One of the few neo-kaiju figures I really love. To me it's got some kind of tiki-kaiju thing going on. Really a great figure.
There was a thread a while ago asking about the possibility of doing this in a clear vinyl, perhaps with innards. But according to Flynn it wouldn't work because of the way this thing is assembled - too many seams or seams in the wrong places, something like that.
I'd also like to see more handpaints done with this figure - I've got one of the 25 done for SDCC last year, I think, and it's killer.

 Re: Dokuwashi
Darker clears would hide the joins or seams. I personally wouldnt care that it showed the joins it just adds to it.

Also, pink Dokuwashi was what started my kaiju fascination. Yeah, mine leans a little. I think the neck joint is loose and I'm afraid to put too much pressure on it, don't know how the joints are formed. Love it anyway.

 Re: Dokuwashi
We have recently fixed all the Dokuwashi joints, and I looked at a clear test shot today. We are close, and we should have a version ready for SDCC!
For the "leaners" it is because the parts were assembled incorrecty, especially the upper neck (which needed re-tooling) just rotate it around, and the rotate the head back around and you will see the subtle differences. It should be level, if you start to spin it, it is slightly off-axis, which makes it "lean" until you get it alighned correctly.

Love the ghostland concept, but doku is the standout! A very solid piece that ranks up there with the classics. Anybody want to mule for SDCC clear? Hmm, didn't think so. Will there be extras for the webstore? My house says that I can't go to con this year, bwaaaahhh.

 Re: Dokuwashi
Joints or no, that clear looks amazing. Glad there'll be a new one for SDCC; I sincerely love last year's version.
