Well, those are bootlegs, but just higher quality. Ahhh, the good old days.

I had forgotten about those Food Fighters toys. I like how they just stuck the same arms and legs on different foods. The bodies were squishy like dog toys, which made them even funnier. I'll have to see if I still have mine somewhere, I know I had the hotdog and a donut.

Here's one- as of late, I've decided that, although they were a few years after they were after my first run of toy buying days, Street Sharks were fucking awesome toys. I feel like I should buy them. Anyone else digging them?

Barnyard Commandos?
Some cool toys. I used to have a bunch. Just a little vinyl pig or sheep with a hole in their back. They came with a little weapon you could attach to them, I remember the weapons were pretty weak and didn't shoot or do anything except plug into the hole. But they were cheap and cool to play with.

Totally Barnyard Commandos, has to be! I loved them, on the back of the package for the Pigs it "taught" you Pig Latin. I LITERALLY thought I learned a whole new language! I only had the pigs, though, I don't remember/know why, no sheep.

Hahahha the best thing about Street Sharks was their catch phrase "Jawsome!"

Man, all this Street Sharks talk made me run off to E-bay and grab this guy. Extreme Dinosaurs. Anyone else have these guys?
So many great toys made back in the day. I wish I had a time machine and could go back in time and go on a shopping spree in ToysRus.

A few things I have out now. I got way more in boxes. Hasbro WWF Figures crack me up, so cartoony and the best era of wrestling, such crazy gimmicks. Also I've re-discovered Super Naturals! I just picked up the "definitive" Buzz Lightyear from Disney-Pixar x Thinkway. What makes it definitive? It's designed from the original Pixar computer files and comes with a certificate signed by John Lasseter. It's 12" of light-up, talking, glow-in-the-dark, pop-out-wing goodness.

I also like all of the newer action figures done by The Four Horsemen for their Seventh Kingdom line.

I love Masters I had pretty much the whole line as akid. I relly loved the knockoffs as well.

Didn't these kinds of figs actually bootleg the bodies and then use new head sculpts? I thought they did it for a bunch of weird little lines, there was one that was really great with all these weird animal characters, and I think the bodies were ripped off TMNT toys, I'll try to find pics sometime...

The Devil Warriors in the back and the guy in the army suit with the skull head were kind of along those lines I think: Image

I was collecting Hot Wheels Lowriders for awhile. Then related to a house move I gave them to my young nephew. Sorry, no photos. They were only Hot Wheels but some of them were very well done. I displayed them along with the original "Homies" ... sort of like a little classic car show on a shelf. My dad used to restore REALLY old cars (like, Model T era) as a hobby and had some very fine classic car models of a larger sort from the 60s and 70s. I'm not a gearhead myself but admire car customization and dig the toys too.
