If this reception is anything close to the norm, you should have no problem getting one if you can manage to get the dough together.

Well, I guess you're right mz...

Though, having been such a huge fan of the Ikas...I just can't help but imagine that it will look pretty damn sweet in person at that height.

4k sweet though?...probably not.

I have to admit that he does look a little frightened too  ...

I really cannot believe anyone would pay $4000 for a toy. Even if it is pretending to be "art".

If someone paid me $4000 to put that on display in my home I'd likely turn it down. Its an eyesore.

I can imagine seeing this in the lobby of a tech startup that's desperately trying to appear hip.

Post Re: Gigantor Salari Ika
Hmm..I guess I should visit the American Idols section more often...this was my first post in here

I'll admit that I got a little excited by the Humongo Ika at first as the Salari Ika's are the only Kozik I collect (which amounts to a whopping 4 Ikas...no Gilas just the Salarysquid), but the frightened look and the awkward sculpt of the enormous Ika definitely leaves something to be desired.

But I had no idea there was so much Ika detestation going on.

I dig them.

The Ika with the shredded cash innards was a pretty cool idea.

Th Happy Beaver was designed by Jeff Pigeon. Kozik did a paint variation of it for SDCC.

Post Re: Gigantor Salari Ika
When I first saw the pics of the big Ika, I didn't like the sculpt very much. The head seemed too wide and flat. But in person it looks much better. I have all 3 of the regular sized Ikas, and would love to see a 18-24" version. The big one is amazing, but I have to agree with the rest of you: it ain't $4k amazing.
