Skinner has got a new solo show opening this Saturday (8/14) at White Walls Gallery in SF from 7p-11p. Be sure to come check it out. The paintings are fantastic and wild. I know some of you were at the Super7 show a few months ago with Martin and Skinner. Skinner's new paintings far surpass anything you saw then. Lots of new work and a few new three dimensional pieces will be on hand. Hope to see many of you there!

Holy shit, Skinner has got some grade A+++++ work going on there.

Many of you have already seen this, but for those who haven't followed the preview link, here is some motivation...



This masks measures approx. 18"x18" as most of them do. Some are a little smaller at 18"x10".

There are 5 designs and 6 masks of each design, all painted differently by Skinner. They are made of a thick vacuum formed plastic, not paper mache.

oh yeah very inspiring. been checking links of his art so many times over past couple days.
crazy how fast he developed his works from last exhibitions to now.
bright even more detailed realistic paintings have so much depth.
totally crazy to see how much effort he puts into these. ...true addiction.

I was there from 7:10 to roughly 7:30pm. Got a pin from Skinner with a red monster face. Didn't see any other skullbrainers. When were you there?

about 9:30-10:00. guess we missed each other my a leeetle bit. yeah, would have rather made it in before the crowds

Jan and I were there about the same time as you, Harmon, but I didn't see you. I saw Josh just before I left, though. It was just starting to get crowded when we left. I'm glad we were there early so we could actually stand back and see the paintings. We'll probably go again for another look before the show comes down. It's worth a second look for sure.
