I realized this had never been posted on SkullBrain. I think this was one of the best preivews at SDCC. I am looking forward to this figure and I hope I can get over the fact is has a stand by the time it is released.
What does the hard to please crowd think?

i tend to like anything that is different. However I usally don't want one by the time they are released. maybe I am just trying to hard to like western toys at this point. It can't just be companions and pollards, I have to find more.
I really hate stands, I don't have a single figure that needs a stand.

Is the stand the black wavy part or that along with the blue board?
I know some people are raving about this at other places but I can't get into it.
I'd take a Fowler Giant Snorse over this.

I love the Nosferatu (have four) but didn't care for the Eric So one.
Underrated figures in my opinion.

I have both of the camos and I think the black freehand scribble one is incredible.
Never saw the So one in person though.
Did you say that you have a Snorse? Blue or grey?

I really like it, but that stand, urgh. Wonder if it will stand up on its own.

Pretty cool...I also hate the stand idea. If nothing else I would pry off the stand and think of something else (gluing, tack, nail it through it's feet...) to stand it up.

I would think it would fall forward without the stand casue of the shape of the horsehead.
I could deal with the stand, it's the Warner Brothers colours and look that doesn't work for me. Somehow I see it as an offshoot of Warner Bros Marvin the Martian.

why does everyone have such an issue over the stand?
It's not like a quality issue...this thing is sick.

i like it quite a bit
i was put off by the stand at first, but after ewok explained it is supposed to the figure casting a shadow, and that the shadow is actually a tag that says ewok, then i can dig it

i really like it... the horse looks like canvas come to life.
theres a real hint of violence about it that is compelling, even though it still has that 2D cartoonish bit about it.
i could stare at it for a very long time

i like it too (minus the stand) but don't think i'll buy one...who knows. it is an original piece in a stale western scene as of late. i love how the sculpt came out...real close to ewoks drawing style and is quite refreshing.

I'll be buying it, it was definitely one of my favorite previews at the con. Not too partial to the stand either but oh well.

The figure looks cool...a whole army of characters like that would be quite nice...HOWEVER (and this is only my opinion), it seems like using solid legs to weight down the fig might be better than an elongated base...that is gonna fill up a lot of shelf space that many folks don't have to spare...
does anyone know if the horse head will come off or is it permantly attached?

YES! this is my most anticipated wait right now, there is going to be 2 different colorways to my knowledge and a screen print inside each box. I also am thinking this will be turning the american market upside down. I'm thinking Xmas time for the release.
