I think for this being your first toy, it's very well painted and packaged, nice work.

I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say that the introductory price doesn't seem too friendly; but big kudos to you for navigating all the steps you have to go through to produce something on your own. Really nice color choices on the vinyl and paint.
How tall is your new fellow?

Re: NEW TOY. Smalmack from Secret demon services.
Thank you for your comments, He's 8'' tall to the top of his head, nearly 9'' to the top of his horns... you have got me thinking about the price though. In truth and this may sound strange, i haven't really put a great deal of thought into the price and the $100 was something i decided on very quickly after thinking about how much many of my toys have cost me... in fairness i am selling a new toy from a relatively unknown toy maker so you are probably right. I certainly didn't go into this project as a money making exercise, with this said i think i will sell at least the first release for the lower price of $70. I just want to get these into peoples hands to see and show people.. what i think is an awesome toy and like you said the color scheme which has worked out brilliantly. This figure is so versatile as regards the different looks i can achieve with it. I have so much planned for him strange themes with very interesting colorways, accessories, header art etc. So once again introductory price $70. toothaction wrote: I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say that the introductory price doesn't seem too friendly; but big kudos to you for navigating all the steps you have to go through to produce something on your own. Re: NEW TOY. Smalmack from Secret demon services.
I like the silly face and head but I can't seem to get around the face on the chest. Looks like a face, but not really. Kind of unfinished. On the other hand, I really liked the two colour versions you have here. Especially this one of. INteresting it has hoofs and the hand sculpt looks like an outstanding job.

Re: NEW TOY. Smalmack from Secret demon services.
I think it's cool that you took a suggestion here and lowered your price so dramatically. So many people take suggestions as insults and get defensive. I dig this thing and at 70 bucks it will likely end up on my shelf. Secret demon services is an awesome name too.

What is the base color on these? Seems like its covered in a lot of paint, judging by all that vcolor in the background!

Re: NEW TOY. Smalmack from Secret demon services.
I guess I'm in the 1% minority. No offense but I have no reference as to who "FATAL" is or what he is into. Does anyone??
3 years on the board and almost half of the posts in the Wanted section. Not that that matters...
I don't get this toy. Monobrow, buck teeth, saggy boobs, completely bow legged??? and no hint of irony. Is this supposed to be a scary yokai type toy?
Because literally my first thought was Gangam Style and I don't think that this is what it's aiming for.

Re: NEW TOY. Smalmack from Secret demon services.
Thank you for all your positive, constructive and amusing comments. Ide definatly say zollmen have been my biggest influence and inspiration with their off the wall sculpts, as well as been a huge fan of many neo kaiju artists and brands and like most of the people round here, I'm completely up to my eye balls in this shit.
The base colour for the lizard licker is green with magenta, blue and green sprays with the hooves and face having a black rub and painted eyes and boils. The one off hasn't actually got as much paint on it as appears. The base is black with silver, clear blue, orange and green sprays with white and cream hand painted eyes and teeth.... i just keep my stock of v-color on the back of my work bench.
The saggy tits, bowed legs etc are obviously intentional odd elements to add to the strange character of the toy and as you correctly stated would be classed as a yokai type demon....who is from another realm who crosses into this world, charms you with his friendly face only then to devour you via his stomach mouth...

I bought one of the Salem's Lot colorways and I really like it a lot. It is such a great toy in person and is pretty thick and taller than I expected and is well painted. I love the blood splatter that came on mine too. Cool toy, and I'm looking forward to more from this dude.

Not my scene but I think it's a solid first release. Stance is different and cool. I'd like to do something bigger but think I'll stick to minis.
