MadZombies "Parasight"
I started this sculpt several years ago and have put off finishing it till now. It's in Casteline Wax about 9.5" inches tall (which will shrink a bit when it's done in Jp vinyl). Finally socked away enough dough to get this project going. Resin prototypes are just about done and then its off to Ricky to be tooled. Re: The Parasight
... man that's a damn beautiful sculpt. Hints at the 90s Playmates toys look but way more technical. OCD design question - can you rotate those arms round 360? Ask as they look close to the body. Thanks!

Re: Atomic Mushroom new JP vinyl toy "Parasight"
Thanks guys, This thing took for freakin ever to get to this point. I told myself I wasn't gonna do this unless I can fund this myself without using kickstarter and without tapping into cash savings for family and home. Thing was every time I got most of it saved up some emergency would come up or a friend needed cash bad that it got pushed back a couple of years. So jazzed to finally get this going!

Excellent, love the details. I think I like the hands the best! Really nice all around.

Re: Atomic Mushroom new JP vinyl toy "Parasight"
I've seen several sculptors attempting to shove a ton of things into one sculpt ending up with a cluttered look, but I'm loving this! Really effin cool

Really effin cool Thanks, I really tried to set a rhythm to the way the detail was layed out. If you look at the complete turn around photos you'll see that most of the detail was put in to tell a story. I collect Marx Nutty Mads and I liked how all the sculpt told a story and how the detail made it great to look at even though those toys where molded in one solid color. My aim for my Zombies is to have them look good painted or plain. Greasebat wrote: Excellent, love the details. I think I like the hands the best! Really nice all around. Those hands where tricky, I had changed it several times so that it could be pulled out of a roto mold without problems. BTW my current avatar was the original design of this figure. You can see how drastically it had to change to make it suitable for vinyl rotocasting.

Yep a little MadBall mixed with Marx Nutty Mads some years reading old EC comics and early childhood exposure to old Zombie flicks and you too will have these coming outta yer heads.

First time I'm seeing this guy. Detail extraordinaire. And mostly relief, which is the reverse of the majority of sculpts out there (with recessed accents).

So is your plan to release 1 body with 2 heads? That would be pretty great.
