When I considered making resin stuff I figured magnets were the only option even when considering points of articulation... I feel like there has to be more to it.. Edit: I should definitely state that I think the use of the magnets here is cool and that more "accessory" heavy toys should employ it.

Re: Retroband Magnets have been used for quite a while in a number of Japanese toys. Yuji has used them, P.K. has used them, in fact if we started digging I bet their use in the sofubi world goes back decades earlier than we realize. That would be a fun research project. Or maybe I am just a total geek.  Anybody have some examples of vintage toys using magnets? More people should use them though, they are indeed a lot of fun.
