I heard that owltoy is run by davidborn2007...

That's funny, because my research has been leading me to believe that Otus is part of a viral marketing campaign for the long-awaited return of OK Soda.

^ Your whole adventure set is fantastic, Rei! Wow. You should compile them here in the dedicated thread.
Kind of wanted to use the word totally.
EDIT: Forgot the 'is.' Yep.

Thanks for sharing all of the wonderful photos!
The colors are just so vivid in this toy, and the metamorphosis effect is very hypnotic. Just LOVE the lavender and turquoise eyes. Nice little omakes too!

Ugh the more I see this toy, the more I want it. I rarely EVER buy humanoid toys, but this is too amazing... I guess I will sit back and wait for a GID version so I can have those creepy black owl eyes staring at me by my bedside.
Oh, and all these photos are fantastic.

Thanks y'all! <3 I blame Otus for the inspiration

thanks for all the awesome pics guys!!
I really appreciate the support.
I'm so psyched that some of you are into Otus!

Huh, what, davidborn is that you?
I knew it all along!!!In times like these of reflecting on the gift of Otus unto the SB community, I can only turn to the immortal wise words of Misters Wayne and Garth.
Otus is a mad rockin' beast, Brent. We are so lucky to have him join us, and I am thrilled it has all come to fruition. I think the appreciation of members here and happiness with the toy, without any prompting, hype, or BS at all, shows how great a figure he is. Thanks for all your hard work and efforts!

Everything related to this toy has been made with utmost care, thought and humility. Showing them how it's done, Brent. Bravo!

Serious dope!
Well played, and very original!

Owltoys is evom? Awesome!
That would also explain how I was already following you on IG. Mystery solved.
I'll keep an eyes peeled for round 2.

'Owltoy' is actually just called Owl, but I'm sorely tempted to try to make EVOwL a thing!
Happy to see you out in the open, chum.

This is evom and he didn't give me a heads up!?" ...is what I thought for a half second then realized I was out of touch.
I have been out of the loop here forever but that is awesome to hear!
Maybe I can harp at him about that custom...

Whoaaaaa, OWL is one of our very own SB'ers?! Dang evom!
You truly made a winner here with Otus.
If you ever make a GID version, I swear, I will be the first to nab one.

I saw that and almost cried with joy.
It's beautiful.

I love this sculpt, especially the face. It's so expressive and perfect as a translation of what the blank-faced Owl parasite is feeling.
There was a Hulk comic I remember from my childhood (I used to raid my older brothers box of Ultraman and Toku magazines that our grandfather would bring back from Japan in the early 80's and found it in there.) where the Hulk has a parasite on the back of his neck and it's communicating with him directly to his brain and from what I remember it was really weird and surreal and this sculpt makes me really nostalgic for the high levels of surreal, psychedelia in fringe films and art from that period.

thanks soo much everyone!!
GID is next for sure. I'm currently working out the colorway, mentally.
And getting my studio in order, so I don't have to paint these in my garage again.
