Well, that works in principle, but if people get called out for this kind of thing it's even more of a deterrent for others to repeat it . Besides, I'd rather have some good faith and not have to constantly be worried about protecting myself against that type of thing. The deals I've had on this board have always been top notch from good folks.

The only one I have been screwed by is Tman or PeteBrandyPete on ebay.
I think he ripped off some other people here to. If that has been my only bad transaction in a year and a half, I think that says much for the integrity of this board.

I would also be interested in the Black Brain.
Unless you've already mailed him the toys, I'd give him a few more days to respond and then re-sell.

That doesnt address the problem that someone is getting stuff for people who say they want it then don't cough up. If the price was pre-arranged then it's just wrong. If it was Quee, or something everyone already had then LD would be lumbered. In this I'd be sorely tempted to name, shame, then sell it some else.

so "lumbered" means getting stuck with a toy you bought for someone else who backed out on paying you?

excellent. + 10 for neologism.
Now, the RFSO board has created "ghey" and "lumbered".
I should have claimed "flipper" as RFSO but that's too late now...

Lumbered has been around for donkey's years. At least here anyway. Usually said about getting left with someone elses work.

Lumbered's been around for yonks . . . . but how long's 'yonks' been around for? . . . or is that just a Brit term?

Car hood=bonnet. I love it. "Lumbered" is new to me and I am a Yank. It brings up a good point, I just started teaching english and I meet people all the time that have studied before but it was from someone from the UK. Its fun trying to tell them that spelling and meaning are different depending on if you are a Brit or a Yank.
