Eye patches and glasses don't mesh. You look like a cyborg pirate, it sucks.

small metal godzilla lighter. you actuate his arm down and his eyes glow and blows that windproof flame and makes sounds out of his mouth. RFSO engraved on his stomach. I got the lighter without the RFSO but that thing would sell like hotcakes.

What did they say about them? Were they really pink and puffy and made out of flamingo feathers?

I used to work in a comic shop, and we used to have a solid metal godzilla piezo lighter that was really cool. You slid the spikes on his back down, and flames came out his mouth.

It was part of their recent pirate-themed 2-hour special. It was awesome! It turns out, the patch wasn't always used to cover a wounded/missing eye, but to have a constant state of night-vision in one eye at all times. So when you need to see in the dark, you switch the eye patch over and BAM! Instant night vision.
And yes, Adam is the shit.

What they did not address on that Mythbusters was the loss of depth perception when you cover up one eye. I would think climbing the riggings and doing other piraty stuff would require good depth perception.

That's what I kept thinking, plundering is a lot harder wwithout depth perception. I'd imagine pirates attempting to grab a bag of gold and ending up swiping at the air or trying to board a ship but mistiming the jump and hitting the sails lol.
