haven't others' opinions (aside from instigation and lambaste) offered the insight you were requesting?

Heh. I didn't know you could read something that made you dumber. It's happened to quite a few people they PM'd me for fear of be exposed as stoopid, so I speak for all of them.

i think there needs to be more sex appeal in the magazine... like a chick in a bikini displaying the kaws dissected in the centerfold. I would put that on my wall.

at this point, 3 pages deep of pejoratives, are you still concerned with the shifting focus pattern of the mag? Yes. Why? And what are your fears/concerns/apprehensions for the future direction of the magazine's content?
See above, which was probably posted while you wrote this...
I don't really have fears/concerns/apprehensions for the future direction of the magazine. This is something that has been totally misapprehended and read into my question. I don't object to the Kaws front cover and the article... I simply asked, is the magazine going in a different direction.

I don't think so, no. Kaws crossed over, and if im not mistaken was way more popular in asia before the states. So I think the companions pic on the cover is justified.

If the article mentions all the stuff he sold off prior to me getting interested in J-vinyl, I'm gonna go into conniptions...

Yep. Might as well go ahead and change the masthead logo again: [I guess I will just leave this to your imagination.]

Cut to: int. Burpleson AFB, Ripper's office. Mandrake examines a notepad on Ripper's desk. It is covered with doodles and an interlocking pattern of the words Peace On Earth, and Purity Of Essence.
Mandrake:
Peace on Earth. Peace on Earth. Peace on Earth: P O E. Purity of essence. O P O E. whispers O P E.

Ripper:
Your commie has no regard for human life, not even his own. And for this reason, men, I want to impress upon you the need for extreme watchfulness. The enemy may come individually, or he may come in strength. He may even come in the uniform of our own troops. But however he comes we must stop him. We must not allow him to gain entrance to this base. Now, I am going to give you three simple rules. First, trust no one, whatever his uniform or rank, unless he is known to you personally. Second, anyone or anything that approaches within 200 yards of the perimeter is to be fired upon. Third, if in doubt, shoot first, and ask questions afterwards. I would sooner accept a few casualties through accident than lose the entire base and its personnel through carelessness. Any variation on these rules must come from me personally. Now, men, in conclusion, I would like to say that, in the two years it has been my privilege to be your commanding officer, I have always expected the best from you, and you have never given me anything less than that.

The direction of the magazine is a good topic for discussion. I can't offer an opinion because I haven't looked closely at the content of all of the issues. I tend to look for articles about toys I'm interested in and ignore the rest.

This could have been a decent thread if some people just ignored each other. Good job, everyone.

Just my impression from dealing with folks at a local nonprofit agency I do voluneteer work for, and based on the non-sensical out-of-the-blue responses that certain people keep spouting. Very similar to the utterances and written statements I get from the people in therapy for these addictive drugs.
