I'm excited about it just for the fun of the mystery, but I don't collect a ton of stuff so I might have to be un-RFSO about it and sell em if they arent my cup of tea. I'm sure there will be pictures posted long before they get to my house anyway.

Part of the fun of surprises is speculating about what the surprise is.

"Everybody" minus a lot of us, I suspect. Surprises rock! I for (another) one don't want to know what the question marks stand for until the lucky bag is in hand.
On the other hand, what might appear "lame" is nothing more than perfectly normal human nature. Wanting to take a peek at a covert toy and spoil the surprise in advance? Not necessarily the most mature impulse in the world, but it isn't anything unsual.
Er, is this a "troll thread?"

it's probably the same people that sneak down by the christmas tree and shake their presents
if I ever have a kid and I catch them doing this, I swear I'll dress up like Santa Claus and cut their bike in half with a chainsaw and burn all their toys

My post in another thread was simply an enquiry as to the nature of 'Lucky Bags' . . . my hook-up will be picking 'em up regardless!

chase argyle sock...1/30 chance of pulling this from a lucky bag...most are probably going to be old-school knee-high gym socks from the early 80's...

imagining that people are complaining (when there isn't even anyone complaining in the first place) and complaining about it = lame
me complaining about complainers who complain about imaginary complainers = lame

lame Personally, I detest any sort of toy preview. I just want the product to be plopped in front of me the day it comes out and I'll decide whether or not I want it.
I've felt this way since the spring of 1983, when I got Star Wars figures with cardbacks that had little black blobs over the characters named "Wicket," "Chief Chirpa," etc.
You can imagine my disappointment when I found out what was under those blobs.

I'm really a nice, friendly guy. I swear.
those who know me in person know that I can get cranky sometimes (it's fun!!)
but I don't necessarily like this rep I'm getting as a total I FART A LOT (actually, only half of me doesn't really like it, the other half thinks it's funny) so I'll go back to keeping my whiny comments to myself I guess, since everyone around here seems to hate complaining so much
I know another place where I can go and successfully piss and moan
as you were
