Some news around here that will effect most of you.

There will be no more Pre-orders or reserve lists for Secret Base items. We got the command from the most high after the recent Balzac toy Pre-order.

So please do not ask if you can be on a hold list or ask if super7 is going to be getting a certain Secret Base item. I will not be able to answer any questions.

We will announce all releases over email, our website and this website.

Sorry about this, but to keep getting secret base, we have to play by these rules.

That does kind of make sense though, I wonder what went wrong w/ the balzac pre-order? Maybe these pre-orders/reserve lists cause the toys to not sell as quickly somehow? Or perhaps it is the opposite and not everybody has a chance to score. Either way, please do whatever you have to do to keep routing toys to us amuricuhns.

My Balzac order with S7 went perfectly... it's the Misfits Records one that has hit a snag... (still haven't gotten it yet, time to start beating bushes and rattling cages...)

So now we just have to rely on luck and speed in response to message announcements? I'm not complaining, really, just curious as to how things are supposed to work and what constitutes a breach of ettiquette...

These questions may seem a little dense, but I just want to know the score, since people like me without constant access to e-mail and web things will be hurt potentially the most by this. (Of course, I realize I am most likely in the minority, but such is life on the prairie...)

We can't even ask about things anymore? That seems a little harsh, but okay...

Was someone important angered? hmmm... curious, this.

Just a wee bit more clarification would be appreciated, as I definitely want to play by whatever rules are in place now. I fully support the idea of fair play, if that's what this is about.

Oh, and one other question -- can we inquire about finding older SB stuff, as long as we do not pursue the new releases? Or is there a total info blackout on everything?

And we can still talk about SB stuff here, right? We just can't ask about actually buying it?

I think you're right... this could lead to big time drama. That's why I want to be totally clear on the rules so as to not damage my chance of getting any new SB stuff that comes along that I would like. Super 7 is really my only source for this stuff. Only once have I gotten anything from anywhere else.

So, you see, I want to be fair and loyal...

This reminds of that (Chinese?) curse, "may you live in interesting times"... things are likely to get really interesting with this new policy...

I know there are going to be upset folks when some of this stuff drops at the wrong time. God knows I was less than thrilled when I missed out on the Subscriber GF and that was announced.

But like you've said, what can you do?

If this is the way the game changes then ya gotta roll with it.

Doesn't seem like that big a deal to me, no pre order lists, no "are you going to get this and this and this new thing in", more mystery could be cool, shit will just drop out of nowhere and it will be exiting.

The only downside to all of this I can think of would be since Toy Tokyo seems to release a lot of stuff first if people don't know that S7 is going to be getting it for sure they may not risk waiting to find out.

An eloquent expression of my exact sentiments... I stand to miss out big time, not having the ability to check the web constantly...

And e-mail problems led to my missing out on one of the sub GFs (the St. V-Day black), as well... it's now one of the 4 I'm missing... but that's an equine of a differing hue...

Just hope this doesn't create more problems than just hurt feelings...

This is what I was thinking. For instance on the new plush should I wait or not? Is S7 getting any or 10 or lots of them? I think whomever ordered this should cover S7's EMS shipping costs so they can get the SB stuff as fast as TT .

Nostromo--I wouldn't worry about any sort of "information blackout" or anything. I think Ramos just wanted to highlight the fact that any more "will you be getting such and such SB item" would just be fruitless and a waste of everyone's time.

We can of course discuss whatever we want concerning SB, and I'm sure Ramos, Brian, etc. will still help everyone out w/ older SB stuff to the best of their ability.

hey s7 already got their plushes. they got ten of em and they sold out really quick. I'd say get em from wherever you can at this point.
