I am sorry about this fucked up situation. I thought I was doing some good by rearranging the forums. All this bullshiting is pointless. I thought letting frank run around on here more would show how dumb all the bullshit was and people would stop, but it just backfired and made more.

Frank is fond of changing people's words when he can. He used to do it to my posts all the time on the KR board.

He shouldn't be allowed to be a moderator on someone else's board under any circumstances.

He should just set up his own board someplace.

None of this was ever a problem w/the original crew so it makes you think about whats been added to make it this way now...I agree this is the same road KR went down a year ago and it's in ruins now!!A shadow of what it used to be for us at least..

Having a discussion board with no "rules" to speak of was a great idea and a grand experiment.

But for any board to really work and not ultimately fall apart, the best approach seems to have a fairly active moderator and a zero-tolerance prohibition against personal attacks, baiting, flaming, bickering, etc.

One of the best examples of this in the toy realm that I can think of is the Rotofugi board - it really is a nice place to be, fun, and people talk about and enjoy toys. Kirby takes a very hard line against ANY kind of BS and nips it in the bud early so things don't have a chance to get out of hand.

I am not at this point laying blame or trying to hold myself blameless for anything. Just making an observation that I have also shared with Brian and Isaac.
