Post New logo.
Let me be the first to comment on the new family-friendly banner at the top of the BBS. I like it. Nice work.

Maybe that explains why the site was glitchy at various times today.

Hey Isaac, was the new logo a measure to avoid using line art of the SB figures, or merely a way to put something fresh up? (I'm remembering when Brian was advising against using anything that could be construed as protected intellectual property on the proposed T-shirts, etc.) Just curious, that's all.

It is a little of both reasons. I am trying to stay away from that line art and also tease you all with some elements of the t-shirt design. I am moving ahead with 2 shirt designs. I should have them for sale here by the end of the month. If these sell out I have a artist shirt all lined up.

I don't mind the abbreviation but what about an edited and
unedited version?

Plus, the skulls sort of have a dash of day of the dead vibe...was that intentional?

To be real honest i'm not feel'n this logo. Seems like it could be a little more SB and not so clean. I think the skulls seem a little played out. With all the NEW types of figures covered here in the threads, it seems like we should have something a little more odd and original. Just my pinion tho - S-OUT

I think it's at the top of the BRAIN NEWS HOME page, not the top of this page. Blurey blue photo of transp. SB ghost. I agree with SHAPESHIFTA It's rather safe and does not reflect the edgey direction our new vinyl seems to be headed.

I know there are a few artsy types around these parts. Maybe you should have some kind of header contest for both the site and the board that can be voted on by the members - that'd be fun. I know I'd participate in designing some headers.

being original is played out. It is about international classic now.

Originality has alway's paved the way for new classic styles. Even the classics were originals to begin with ! Only time decides what will or will not become classic. Levis were around a long time before they went on to become international.
