When keepin' it real goes wrong, I stick to the rule of 1 room full of toys.

1 room.

Yeah but how deep can your shelves be-just wide enough to walk through?

You need to get a display system with a conveyor belt like at the Dry Cleaners... just hit the button, and rotate your collection around.

I had a couple of 'kid free' days last month . . . that's when I had an opportunity to hit the dispaly cabinets. Sorting 'em out and organising was real theraputic and finally gave me a chance to focus on what direction I'd like my collection to go in!

Ya got toys . . . ya gotta play with 'em :D

I say Frank'll be jonesin' in about 2 weeks, mebbes earlier if the monotone Dissected hits first

You should sell the ones that you really only half dig. I buy figures and in 6 months sometimes dont like them. It doesnt happen often, but I think it happens to everyone. Why not pack up and store the ones that you really arent jonesin' on, then unpack them in 1 year and decide then if you really want to keep them and get more space?

I spend a lot of time organizing my collection and keeping it in check. 99% of my toys are in my toy room. When that room starts looking like a retailer on the eve of Black Friday, I start rearranging and trimming the collection. Some years ago, toys were all over my house. They seriously grew like ivy through every room. Totally out of control. Having it all in a small room has helped sort out that problem. But the collection is still like a bonzai tree - always in need of tending. ;)

Frank, I have always wondered if as an artist & toy creator you can write off your toys as a business expense? Maybe you should look into it

Yeah, and if you sell toys off at a ludicrously large financial loss, can you claim that in your taxes?
