Post Ultra Mega OK BOTC Picture Special!!!
We didn't have an opening party of BOTC: SB Style, so instead we had a closing party at Meltdown on Sunset. As most locals interested had seen this already, plus holiday weekend and competing events - turn out was limited to the true hardcore - but an excellent time was had by all (including the Turbonegro Bakersfield Chapter, who were on their way to see Van Stone and later some Jugen band...turned out one of them even knows Brian Flynn - name of Goon or something)

Prizes donated by S7 and Span, plus beer courtesy of Meltdown and R2D2 made it a fun night, which began at now famous LASK haunt - AstroBurger and ended in LA County Lockup! We wish! Actually ended at Sandwich joint Roman's. Oh the rock n rollness of it all!

The craziness begins:
Image

Rick n Ronnie dork out, Suicidal style:

More dorking:
Image

Quiet it down RIOT kidz:
Image

And u thought u were Old Skool: Colin, Mitchell and John fly the flag for BOTC:
Image

Let the prize winning commence

Edward, Rick and Pete display amazing raffle wins:
Image

Ronnie dangerously eyes Pete's prize win of an SB shirt, while Scott goes for S7 style annonymity:
Image

Sarah is stunned by a valuable S7 backissue and a SecretBase cup still in original net baggie!!!!!!!!!!
Image

Most excited of all is Edward who scores the nights big prize, an Atmos Pumpkin Brain. See how stoked he is in his S7 shirt?
Image

And as the evening draws to a close people chill:

Romina is like "thank God the toy nerdz are letting me leave soon":
Image

Toy glitterati Joemm and Rachel chill:
Image

And a few final never before seen BOTC pics:

Guess who scored the GID w/silver spray Skullwing a few weeks ago?
Image

Huge thanks to S7 (Brian and Isaac) for some great prizes, Span (Gaston, Karou and Yev) for more great prizes and Meltdown (Francisco and all the guys) for beer and venue

Bye y'all!

What a great way to cap off such a notable display! I'm really jealous I couldn't have seen this first hand.

Thanks for all your kind comments - we had a RAD time!

Thanks also for the PM's - most notably questions asking how to attract girls to future toy related events. You'll just have to wait for my "How To" Guide, right here....on Muton's Minute...nnnnuurgrhgrhghhhh

I believe Theodore Nugent said it best "When in doubt, I whip it out, say I'm in a rock n' roll band, it's a free for all."

Nice display and a fun time was had by all (or so it appears). How much did you have to fork over to get the girls to hang out?
