RAAAAAD!
Bust Brain looks killer - a couple of the other ones are getting a little too "Iron Maiden"/McFarlane-esqe and not enough "Ed Roth" - but whatever. it's cool to see 'em back.

The bust brain does rule!!!!
With some color, the football one would be really cool too.

I'm just stoked on the $3.99 - $9.99 price. At least they didn't make them out of vinyl and charge $50 for them!

they have to make them out of something that isn't going to hurt too much when kids get a hold of them and whip them at their friends heads at top speed

Those are pretty close to the original styles from back in the day. Little embellishements here and there on the new ones (Cyclops with the Cahin in his face) but they have the feel of the old school ones.
"Bust" brain - funny! Original one was called Dust Brain and the complany (I think it was LJN) got a bunch of grief for the name cause it was a drug reference - I think PCP way back then - Dust Brain. Funny shit!
Hiddy will be happy!

I remember one of the balls was named Crack Head (because he had a crack in his head). He was later renamed Bash Brain.

Madballs were soooooooo far ahead of the curve in 1986. I bought everything I could find in the stores back in the day. It's cool to see them come full circle.
Heres a pict of one of the original holy grails:

Yo Doc,
Hard to say just what the MIP value is on the 3 holy Grail Super mad balls ( basketball, soccer ball and football) They were made in small quanities during the last year, at the very end of the lines production after customer interest had ended.
I also have not seen any offered for sale in the secondary market in the past 20 years.
I personally would not break with any of my MIP Super Balls for under $800.
Heres a pict of one of the other Holy Grails, the SOCCER Ball:

So what other Mad Balls toys were made besides the balls?
I've seen some sort of action figure where the head pops off ( I think).
Is there a website that lists all the various Mad Balls toys?

I had no idea they made those giant ones, those are sick!!
I'm stoked for the new ones as well.
I think it would be cool if they did new versions of the action figures to.

Hi Chad,
Amtoy made 2 waves (8 each) of the regular madballs. I believe there were 3 Super Madballs. They also produced the head-popping action figures ( I have two of them in a pic under Show Us Your Collection).
There was Horn Head Madball Cycle that came with a catapult to shoot spare Madball heads, some Madball silly sting-type shooters, a Madball movie, and a series of comic books from Marvel's Star Comics line.
Here is a great link:http://home.comcast.net/~metrbb/madballs/index.html

Hi Chad,
Took me a while to dig this out and photo it.
This is a poster that came with the Super balls showing some of the items Cralya mentioned above.
