 RxH PREORDER UPDATES! hey
Alot of you have been writing me with concerns you missed out on the lists I made for RxH toys. Do not worry. RxH uses an old guy and he takes for ever with the paint jobs. Mori has this dude working over time! He releases the toys as fast as this guy can paint them.
here is the latest arrival dates RxH could give me.
Black mutant chaos - next week
Purple chaos man - possibly late next week
Green Mutant Head - 2 weeks
Wonderfest Chaos - Early April
Green Akrokaiser - Early April
I will contact you if you are on the list.

I thought Mori made a batch and then moved on to the next release. I'm suprised to hear some of these are still 'in process' after some of the same release were available a couple of months back.

RxH does make one batch of vinyl but they say it takes a while to get them all painted since they are such a small company.

I am pretty sure he makes the paint designs and some one offs.

This is KILLER news!
Can anyone provide me with more info on the paint app process? Is each figure painted by hand...for some reason I had always thought of mass production techniques, which are cleaerly not applicable here. How is the consistency of paint app retained form one figure to the next? Is a stencil approach used for large blaocks of colr with a clean line separating it...etc.. etc.....

soft vinyl is painted by hands. there is some metal masks that are made for hard line and large area stuff, logos are printed by machine, but this can only be done on smooth flat areas. Consitancy in paint is up to the skill of the painter.
