If you send me pics and prices I can post it for sale on KR for you. But the bay seems to be a better option lately anyways, in my experience people seem to want to talk to you about buying your stuff on KR more than actually buying it.

Caviar taste on a paper route salary.
I think you're right ebay or bust! To much of a hassle dealing with the KRiddies.

I'm hoping this is just one of those growing pain things and not some sign of "the end". Although I have noticed that more and more of the original posters have gone silent and I honestly miss their input.
I also think the nature of this hobby spawns flippers, super limited + high demand = B.S. You couldn’t find a Blood Pirate to save your life when they first dropped and suddenly when one went for $350 they were all over the place. I’m not pointing fingers and I’m sure some people here had legit reasons for selling but it’s getting old being beaten out of getting something you really wanted for retail only to see it on the bay for double a week later.

I hear you but I gotta hate the player a little bit. There is some shit out there that is so hard to get and to see one after another pop up on the bay...but it is a small percentage of the over all scene. I'm just bitter about never being able to score a Damnedron for retail.

Green, grey, Friday13th and yellow occasionally show up.
But have never seen the original colourway or the first S7 colourway or the GIDs.

i know im new here and one of the ones you speak of who has migrated over but i thought i would say something about this. I dont think that this board is going to see the kind of explosion KR has because, as someone else had said, the prices. The majority of people on there now a days seem to be teens who have recently found d unnys and other KR products. from what i have been seeing, unless its a rare KR product they dont want to spend more than $20. if you try and sell something that is not a KR product or a Ledbetter toy, its going to be really hard to sell. KR is a big fad right now and when it dies and d unnys become wortless, i think alot of the people will just move on to something else "cool" and get away from toys.

I wouldn't necessarily assume that the KR-based Western toy collectors won't migrate based on finances. After all, they have a community in which numerous people think nothing of spending $300 or more for a desired 8" Du.nny On the other hand, most of those folks don't appreciate kaiju much. All the better for those of us who do.

Life is change.
This board will change and evolve more and more as time goes by. Just the think, in 5 years 90% of the people would drop out of toy collecting here.
Die trying to get at least $50 for their bemons on ebay, and be in a different forum saying the exact same thing about something like turn of the century tea sets from Bangor Maine.

$50 Bemons? Roll on that day. If I haven't gone toy related tits up by then, I will be snapping up those babies.
Oh, and I have some extremely limted Bangor Maine tea sets, that I can give you a great price on

Ill take the teas sets, you can get them back on ebay for 3x the price in 5 years... you might want to restart the list now so you don't get out bidded

Here's a thought ...
There was talk of starting "the list" anew anyway.
Is there ample interest that we should go ahead and do that, except not in someone's "personal" forum? Although I agree 100% with Pogue's perspective regarding reselling items found at RFSO on the 'Bay for higher profit margins, I thought it was unfortunate that the list was deleted due to a few differences of perspective.
Would it be worthwhile to start again, or is this issue just dead, dead, dead for now?
Not trying to beat dead horses, just curious to know if it's worth trying again. I'd like to think so. Some of us would still rather "do the right thing" with respect to fellow RFSO'ers.

The idea of the list was golden, but there are people on this forum that see this place as a community, and others as info dump with no care or respect for other members. If 'everyone' played by the rules, great, but obviously its not going to happen. To each their own I guess.
nice guys finish last...

surely this list would only work on YJA since eBay hides the bidders name anyway?

Only after it hits the $200 mark, unless it's changed again recently.

Yeah, I think it's fair to say that I'm a nice guy, and I'm well aware of how that tends to lead to getting trampled more than reciprocated.
However, there are other "nice" people around as I've seen in great trades and sales here at the board, so for my part, those people and other future transaction partners will always get extra consideration if we're shooting for the same item somewhere.
I don't wanna whine too much, but I have noticed that some of the people who have complained about "bad behavior" have later engaged in precisely the same behaviors. Hm.
Bottom line for me: Keep it fun, keep it positive, don't get too bummed when those holy grails elude you because someone else has more money, faster impulses, or poor ethics.
