This debate cracks me up. I don't mind flipping, at least 30% of my collection comes from flippers. I am not trying to stop or deter flipping.

It is the apologist that I find annoying. When Clam was called out the people doing it were called elitist snobs. Then it happens again with the recent ebay sales from the OG board leach from Keller Texas.

We can't stop this shit but we can call these people out and run them off our board. Instead I get told to mellow out, that I am an elitist and a bully or on a good day someone says I collect for the wrong reasons.

Why would I withhold from bidding against people who defend this kinda crap? Why should I step aside so they might get a good deal? Why would I want to help them in their collecting at all?

People are gonna do what they do no matter what. We can either worry our little heads about it or move on. I myself am not gonna stress about what ANYONE else does, expecially if it dosent directly affect me. (Not trying to get gray hairs or an anurism this early in life, expecially over toys)

yes, it does suck when people flip, shill, cuss, fart, whatever. There is really nothing we can do to stop them besides 'running them off the board'. When people can 'buy low, sell high' they will. Thats human nature, why do you think the stock market is so popular?

If we want to instill fear in the populus, thats the best way to do it. If we want to run things on the honor system - good luck.

If you dont like the price - dont buy. I know I wont. If you are pissed at the game - dont buy. If we dont fuel the flippers, they will have no one to flip to. In a perfect world, there would be no flippers, in a perfect world all toys would be reserved for the true fan. Im not gonna cry or stress, just learn to deal with it, and learn thats the way it is.
