The sculptors are the unsung heroes of the toy world slaving away behind the scenes. Its kind of a grey area for a sculptor to have a show of the sculpts he has done for several manufacturers - some companies like SB like to keep the fact that they outsource any part of the process destroys their 'mystique'

Great thread.
Im planning a trip to Japan in April/May 08 for about 2 weeks and want to try to attend a festival, catch up with some friends and go toy shopping. Does anyone know of any festivals that run annually early mid year. Is there a time when they start announcing dates for next year's festivals?
