The Coke Zagoran was for the Buzz energy drink, for shop display only. The HMV one will be for sale to the public. I believe it will be available at the Shibuya store and possibly online. HMV is expanding their designer toy department and this exclusive is trying to bring attention to that...

If online, is it Japan only and I'll need to seek out help, or do I can I order from their site being in the States?

This is a general question to anyone who might know.

Could always say HMV means "Hang Michael Vick"

I don't know, but I have a feeling the impression of HMV may be very different in Japan than here in North America. I've noticed a lot of HMV exclusives of some decent companies in the past... I know you would never find anything that indi in a HMV around here!

Absolutely. I don't care how beautiful the colorway is, it's branding for another company. Not into that. I love my Nike Stealth Cats but they don't have the company name or logo on them. They don't scream "NIKE" when you look at 'em.

i love pink and dig gargamel but i'm just not feeling this enough to hunt one down. if presented the chance to score it at retail, i'd bite but it really doesn't move me enough to go crazy. it think the buzz promo one worked way better in my opinion.

The difference between the M1 HMV exclusives and this one is the M1s didn't have a giant logo down the belly. Exclusives for large corporations don't bother me too much but I hate corporate logos on stuff. This ain't NASCAR.

The inner logo reminds me of Vegas lights. Maybe they'll do a future release that says 'ZAG' it's a cool effect though, logo aside.

Maybe RFSO or I ::heart:: S7

search for SDCC pics in collections or in the SB section...pics of the Hedorah showed up in both spots...

there's 2 of them, they both rock...and they both feature pink...

only 5 of the full pink/glow one though...they look amazing together if you can get em both...I was lucky enough to do just that...

Is HMV not big in the US? In the UK they are on every high street. Can't get more corporate.

HMV had a big store in Harvard Square but that collapsed and closed a couple years ago. They don't have any other stores in the Greater Boston area.

I've never heard of the joint. As far as I know there were never any in Chicago, or that area, so the first time HMV came to my world was this thread. If it's like Tower Records and so big, again, I see some peoples reluctance or over all lack of enthusiasm for this. I still don't care though, I'm a corporate whore.

Wasn't there another (or multiple) toy collaborations / exclusives for HMV in the past? For some reason I'm think there were.

As for the Zag in question, no thanks. Although I hope that those involved made some decent money from the deal.
