FINALLY. a full-size Zag! I always wanted this guy but never actually thought it would happen. shows how much I know  (thanks, totojustice).
After having one in-hand, I see why these are so popular. For one, he's a lot bigger than I thought he'd be--about as tall as Shintosan. great stuff. can't wait to see him glow it up tonight.

The "story" that I've heard is that it's based on some dude who dresses like that to hobby conventions. I have no idea where I heard that (probably here) or the level of its validity, but that's about all I know.

It's made by EMUPAIYA. One of my all time favorites. There weren't new ones released for quite a while but recently there have been a ton. I think in total there are now over a dozen different releases of this guy. Another cool part of this figure is if you take the helmet off you'll be greeted by a face that's sure to surprize!
