Yeah, this is my first time handling the Ghost Land figures and I think they're really cool. I'm glad I'm helping them haunt the tri-state area.

The October Chiller shows are usually very crowded. If you do plan on coming, show up at least an hour before opening time and you will have the best chance of getting in.

The dealer's room is heavy on the monster stuff, as you could imagine. There are normally two other tables who have a lot of older Japanese stuff, one more skewed towards kaiju, the other towards robots.

The guests, if you're interested in meeting them, are more or less accessible depending on who it is, of course. Val Kilmer will have lines out the door for him. Seka, not so much.

And then there are many cool artists on hand, like Bob Eggleton and Ken Kelly.

And who knows, Skullbrain board members Turtletooth, Skylar, Missy, and AladdinSane may make appearances. If you ask them nicely, they might even give you autographs.

How come I live in a state where everyone wants to be and nothing cool ever happens (well Screamfest and Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-O-Scream don't count).

I ask myself the same question, and the answer I come up with is, "Because the hot dogs are good here."

We are 50 miles from either coast, Bike week twice a year, hot babes on the beaches, And we have Hurricanes, what more could you ask for

Yea, 813 right here, but...
1) I don't like beaches
2) I'm not a biker (though I did do a short stint for Born to Ride magazine, you might be familiar with it)
3) Again, beaches (and I have a hot babe at home to oogle and she lets me touch her sometimes)
4) The weather is cool because I love rain and storms, but eh, I'm just waiting for the one that puts us underwater

Everything else pretty much sucks. There's no 'scene' here to speak of, unless we're talking about the South FL KR / Western toy stuff (read: Tate's). I know no one who's into toys, much less Japanese neo-kaiju.

Well, I'm here , and I haven't forgot about the Kaijin Blobpus Murder. I'll hook you up when it comes in. (at cost plus shipping of course )

Yep I was.I stepped away from the table for a moment and when I got back my wife told me that CHYNA DOLL stopped by and bought one. I was so pissed I missed her. I had a great time though. I'm def gonna do more.
