 mini hedo set release date?
the first post says they be available at the super7 store on Feb. 1, but the Gargamel site says they are being released on Feb. 3. Is this a change in release from the original post, or what?

The release date for this release has been changed to Feb 3rd. It looks like we will have to wait until Sunday to buy this amazing set.
Gargamel and Super7 apologize for the confusion.

Yeah I noticed the same thing? Is 6300 yen (roughly 60 USD) the price Gargamel charges stores before taxes and shipping etc etc? I guess if you are shipping alot over through EMS it would be heavy and a high price to ship. I also understand you need to mark things up to cover operating costs and shipping on your end. Maybe you guys should talk to Gargamel about giving you a better retail rate.
just my 2 cents

LOL I know all about that! I used to work at Throb, Breakbeat Science and Satellite Records in NYC. I'd say about 3/4 of all employees used to spend 1/2 their paychecks on a different kind of vinyl- albeit the latest tracks.

I broke the Satellite records web shop not long after it went online. I ordered to much stuff and it broke. The 1st time I actually made it to the store my friends were estimating the number of records I bought in feet. That was a great store until they ran out of backstock.

If you were in Breakbeat from Oct 2000- till May 2001 you met me. Shaved head guy behind the counter. After that I did buying for Satellite so I was rarely in their store, mainly in the office/warehouse.
Jeb was the man in London.....I was always envious of that- as I wanted to go to London so bad. He scored us tons of old jungle chewns and they'd be highly anticipated at the store.
Whoops going way off topic sorry mods....back to the Clear Hedoran Trio discussion.

wow...weird then I most definitely have met you before. i stopped going to parties after ultraworld's ritual party which was in 97 i think..so it probably would have been in 96 or so.
small world eh?

I actually was put in charge of cataloging whatever old boxes of records we found in the warehouse for Satellite. Basically boxes of overstock sitting around since the store opened. I'd come up with a fair price for the consumer and then the owners would jack it up. I kept telling them it drives customers away when they take the piss like that but they would never listen. So I stopped. Btw that, over -extending themselves financially on a huge warehouse in Brooklyn (that they paid almost 700,000 in rent and construction cost before having to scrap those plans and start all over), and the downloading era killed them. Also never EVER stiff your distributers. I remember not being able to open new accounts with british distributers that had certain hot tracks because word was out we never paid. So sad really.

i was at some of the color parties. baby blue and green. green was the one up in the mountains at the ski resort..i also used to go to mello's loft parties in the south end in Boston as well.
Ritual was at the armory. That was the worst day of my life. I was sick and had a 104 fever and strep throat (it developed on the drive down). I slept in a pile of coats for the whole party.
Did you go to Lonnie's party that was at his weird loft with LTJ playing? Pure madness...
I did go to the party at Rocky Point in RI too...
you probably know the 12b crowd from NYC too...yes?
