Don't sweat it too much. Just keep trying and you will eventually land something. I have missed out on many of his lottery draws, most recently with the Valentine releases, but still have managed to land some nice figures in the long run.

His popularity seems to be rising significantly lately as many are coming to realize that he is the top toy painter in the industry. I consider his gargamel releases to be official 1-off handpaints- many of which are one of a kind test shots and prototypes- not unlike the pushead HP/HSP's and Hiddy handpaints.

What sets Koji apart is almost every one of his figures looks unbelievable in low light. Most other nice toys look great displayed in bright natural sunlight, however blend into the shadows in normal to low light. Furthermore, like many of the early RxH gid releases, the figures are at once stunning and subtle meaning that they don't stand out in such a way as to detract from the rest of the collection. I recently sold a nice hot pink Zyurai Asu for this very reason.

And everyone I show my collection to, almost to a person, has picked one of Koji's figures as their favorite out of the 500 or so toys I have on display. So while I am disapointed in missing many of his recent releases, most notably the Grass Hut Ojo Rojo and every mini-zag to come down the pipe, I am happy to see so many people supporting him, helping to ensure we'll see more of these gems released in the future.

I for one am hopping on a plane to Japan for another stab at a custom Ojo Rojo on April 19th, and am hoping we'll see some sort of special event-type goodness come SDCC, preferably on Thursday or Friday when I will be attending.

Yeah I got the email but I'm broke as a joke so....Not worried really. I know one of these days I'll have loot on me when I get the email. Koji really did have a really nice batch of M1's this time around. I was salivating at the Lucky Bag Matango copy/and reverse colors. KL I'm jealous you got that Bemlar! So sweet...

Two weekends in a row, and yellow is the color! Congrats!

I for one scored the maroon and gold Deathra!!!!!!!!! Many of you know that I have been hunting quite a bit for the Deathfest release Deathras.....and this really takes the sting out of missing out.

Stealth- I thought that Mightin was fantastic, nice score! I snagged Koji's custom Ojo, and it is finally going to arrive next week, since the show is wrapping.....I will post pics!

I would have gone for that proto koi but once I saw that matango I went for that. I didnt even get that that untill it was to late.

I got the reverse matango - it was my second choice (baltan was my first) - I'm psyched. Other than the kaiju explosion gargamel hedorah and print figure, this will be my first koji handpaint and I can't wait to see the quality of it up close.

I got the clear Bako - i would've loved the RFSO Smog or one of the Killers but this is still a great pull and i'm stoked for receiving it.
