Daddys toys are in glass cases . . . they have way cooler stuff to distract 'em so it's no biggie!

I don't even let most adults touch my toys, and i trust kids as far as i can throw them. I have "special toys" for our friend's 4 year old who comes over. She has a doll and clothes to play with so she doesn't touch the $300 blythes.

I used to think the same thing but once you have a kid your body is biologically hard wired to get all stoked on babies pooping and making their first spit bubble. Its inescapable...

just sayin'

i won't argue anyone on this, but I'll just say that I work in family planning and there is NO WAY that something that big is coming out of this girl. If skylar wants a baby, he's having it himself.

and I type this to you from an abortion clinic. Seriously.

My five year old girl is good with my stuff. She loves Godzilla and Sentai so she gets all the Bandai stuff along with her usual toys. She banged up a group of 20 inch blow-molded Ultraman figures I got from Thailand...no big deal, they were cheap and look better roughed up.

For a 2 year old, bait & switch. Too young for reasoning, but easily distracted.

My son is a teen now and too cool for such frivolous things. (Toys are for kids, don't you know.)

Speakin' of which...there's a new South Bay BASK'r. Mr. Mason Marswillrule will be 7 days old in a couple of hours.

I've got a few months before I need to worry about my toys. As of now he needs to worry about them, and me with the camera.

i have 3 kids (12, 8, 1 1/2)...
what i've done with the older 2 is explain that these are dad's collection and i take them to a toy shop in town and let them pick out what they want and add to their collection. we sometimes have discussions about our collections and do show & tells for each other. the baby has been eyeing my zag collection lately which sort of worries me, because now she can move chairs and climb up, so the other kids act as guards for me often. :D she also thinks that my bigazzalon is hers because she stares at it all the time and rawwwwwwhs at it. fun stuff.

What he's left out is that he's taught his kids to be bigger hustlers then he is.

my 2 year old knows that his things are his and that mommy and daddy have their own stuff - he was taught since he was a baby and it worked - he doesn't get into any of our things! he does like looking at the display case lol

i also have an 11 year old and 9 year old and they know what limited edition, rare and collectibles mean lol they know how to take care of their things too.

my kids are good, no complaints here!

mason is a cutie pie!!!!!!!!!!!

last night i ripped open some bags i got in the mail (2 ubiq obakes, the sharkman, damage plush set, st. patrick's gf, fc merry) and my daughter grabbed the ubiq's and sharkman immediately to play with. they hung with some farries and barbies for 4 -5 minutes and then they were forgotten and i grabbed them back...no harm done and if she's stoked...i'm stoked. the best story i have is when i got my clear skullcaptain she grabbed him and 10 minutes later came running into me saying "papa...it's ok, the pirate's telescope broke but it's ok". she thought the bottle in his hand was a telescope and snapped off the hand making him look through it. thank god jp vinyl is such good quality that abit of heat and a push and it was like new. i'm guilty of falling into over obsessive moments at times but really, life' too short to worry so much about hunks of vinyl. that said i probably wouldn't let her grab the pushead hand paint...
