 technical-type colourway question
So here's a topic to discuss...
...we've all discussed colourways before, and sprays, and the like, but what other techniques besides clear, opaque, & glow materials can be utilized in making SB figures?
I believe it was mentioned that vinyl cannot be "swirled" on something as small as the Fight figures, because the mix will not be distributed enough and it gums up the works, so outside of perhaps the odd oneshot, mixing the vinyl colours won't exactly work.
There is the gold Skull Brain that was an exclusive, and the awesome literally gold Skullwing custom posted here on the boards, but what about vac-metallizing?
I collect action figures as well, and know that Bandai is fond (or at least used to be) of adding the shiny treatment to figures. The effect is nicely chrome-y, I find, and I was wondering if that type of manufacture would be possible with the SB fight toys.
A silver chrome GF, wing, or Brain would be the cat's pajamas, IMHO.
Also, I was curious if say, glitter could be added to the vinyl and come out in any good way. I know there is a sparkly Skull Bee, but am unsure as to if the silver sparkles are just paint splatter or not.
Of course clear with inserts is one way to go as well.
Just wondering what the different possibilities for making the SB figures different from an actual production standpoint might be...
Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially from you sages who know the toy production side of things.

My thoughts exactly, that's why I wonder if it can be done that way.
As for what vac-metal toys look like, take a look at some of the Power Ranger toys and the big Saint Seiya figures with armor that were released a little while back. Shiny!

Chrome can be done. Swirl cannot be, I tried a long time ago, and you just get mush. I wish you could do it.
