I actually like the simplicity of it. If you look at the piece from certain angles, it's probably going to look like the text is black. For a fanclub release, I find it to be quite elegant.

yeah, i dig it too (also wouldn't have mind if it was blank, although then it wouldn't really fit in w/ the rest of the figures)... now if the printing was in gold, what would have been all wrong

Not boring for me--even if Usugrow releases an exact white and add a mole on the left cheek, i would still buy it.

i would only get it if the mole was on the right cheek.

This white release was a secret store release, and according to staff at the store, Hiddy and Usugrow wanted the white to have silver printing as all the other relases had, but did not feel it was "fit" to release a whole new version since the white was already an existing colorway, so they released this white with silver printing in very small numbers (much less than half of a normal usugrow relase) to apease the small number of fanatical completeists. This release was midweek and very hush, hush! I managed to grab one of them, but only becuase Mark passed along the word. But he owed me as he shafted me earlier in the day at Mandarake. But that's another story.

So's this one . . . although I can't be THAT fanatical because I ain't too bummed out about it! . . . an all silver with black version or something with a major 'WOW' factor and I woulda been!

Looking forward to the next chunk of monochromatic lovliness . . . bring it on!

They fixed the reason I skipped the first two. It always bothered me that the black one didn't have white ink, it made them look mis-matched. Then the next two had the silver so I thought maybe the white was the one that looked out of place a little. Personally I think a black with white ink would have been a better re-fix worth hunting down, then I would have to have got the original white as well, so probably best they didn't go that route.

A Super7 exclusive Black with white ink would sure be killer.
