What size is it? Kinda looks like a Kubrick size but it is decieving

It's a Mighty Mugg. I like some of the Star Wars ones, and the only Marvel one I dig is the Hulk. This gets an "uncool" from me because I think Ghostrider is lame, sorry.

Now the guy from Indiana Jones holding a human heart....cool!

I really hate the shape of these things...and when I'm searching the pegs for a figure I want and look down and see these things I throw up in my mouth a little.

btw. I voted uncool.

i don't hate them because they are platforms (i still own some platform dollies) but i really don't like the shape of these. some of them are ok but they are flooding the market with every property they can hook up with and that is unappealing and uncool.

I never was in to platform toys, especially "art" ones, but these out-and-out corporate-whore ones work for me.

No bullshit art-attitude, just stupid characters from cartoons and comics and movies I love and for $10 each (I got mine on sale, buy 2 get 1 free.)

These are the ONLY "platform" type toys I've ever owned in my life, and it's all because of that damned Lucas! They go well with my Medicom VCD's and Kubricks of the same characters too.

I don't collect art, I collect toys, and these are very much toys. Cheap, mass produced and made to make cash off of kids and dorks. I'm a sucker, I know. I still think Ghostrider's lame though.

The art on those faces are atrocious! Absolutely no style.

I was prompted to post this after finding a couple of these at the Wal-Mart last night. The back of the Star Wars ones say, "Come over to the trendy side of the Force."

They're pretty big and heavy, though.

I went cool (distracted by the skull), and I'm understandably serious outnumbered, I think it's cool, but I wouldn't spend money on it.

It took a bit of time before I realized this was Ghostrider. Looks like they forgot to finish painting his head or something. I vote un-cool.

Needless to say this toy line is cashing in on the vinyl craze. The sculpt is unimaginative and lazy. A platform toy of the worst kind which is already bad since platform toys never appealed to me in the first place.

I could see customs of this stuff. Get a good artist and it would work.

Uncool, but a better platform than a Meebo.

Now that, I think, would suck.

i've got the darth vader mugg. it was the only star wars one i liked. this ghost rider looks unfinished. they could have at least done some kind of clear plastic on the head, and a bit more detail in the body.

the overall shape is awkward and clearly they're cashing in on urban vinyl. but they're cheap so you can complain too much


wow i just looked these up and there are actually some cool ones coming out. general grievous, clone troopers, iron man, dr doom. i might have to pick up a few more

Looks like vertically integrated marketing. You got your movie, your video game, and all the other junk that goes along with a big motion picture release.

The only one of these that has ever tempted me to go over to the darkside is the chewbacca one. But in the end, I decided it was too cute and annoying. And I'm a girl.

This one in particular... UNCOOL
I hated the star wars ones they seem like they are looking for a piece of the "art toy" cool factor... blech.
I also hate the Indiana Jones ones, but thats because there was only 1 good movie in that series..
HOWEVER
I saw the Marvel ones this weekend and I thought they did an excellent job taking the form of the toy and adaptingthe licenses to fit the figure. Hulk, The Thing, Dr Doom, and Cap are all really nicely done for what it is but since i dont want to open up the floodgates to collecting mass market shit (YJA is bad enuff) I am going to pass on the lot.

I think they're garbage but if others like them, that's all that matters.

They're all total shit. I noticed the Star Wars ones at Target the other day and laughed at how bad they actually look.

For some reason I have this aversion to figures with bases.
Stuff should stand on its own.
