 Bwana's Green Globby...
Hey...
maybe I missed it...but I really didn't see too much chit chat about this first release of the "standard" Globby. I just got this in the mail today and am blown away by how much I love this release!
anybody else get this and loving it as much as me? this is really a great sculpt...a really cool collab with Gargamel...a really original toy all around...
I cannot WAIT to see further releases of this in Bwana's amazing paint schemes...I vote for a Bubblegum Warrior Globby...it would be sick!
I just had to gush about this figure...congrats to Bwana for an amazing new release...I know that everyone was talking about it as the proto pics came out...but I think it needs more attention now that the first version is out an about...

People wouldn't shut up about him in my Wanted thread. But yea, love the guy. Nice beefy fig. Can't wait to see some paint.

 Re: Bwana's Green Globby...
The sculpt is amazing, but as others have said, I wasn't really into the solid green color of the first one released. I'm sure there will be other painted colorways coming out in the future that will look great. Wish I had the money to pick one of the custom ones he did.

I think the green is perfect. Maybe my favorite toy of the year so far. I took the head off hoping for a secret inner head, but no such luck. A clear head with something inside would be awesome!

When I bought it I thought I might use it as trade bait, but now that it's here I think you'd have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.
Up close it's amazing. I think the solid green really enhances my appreciation of the sculpt.

I prefer the standard Globby to the mini after comparing both in my hands.
I love him and look forward to more from Bwana!

 Re: Bwana's Green Globby...
Just got mine from a board member. I love this figure. Very Bwana. I agree that the solid green doesn't do much for the figure overall beyond showing off just how awesome the sculpt really is on its own. I can't wait to see what the painted versions are going to look like, but I know I'll love them. Which is why I felt I needed the original -- I'm going to want them all, I'm sure.
