 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
I think there were three different paints of the Mr. Bumper, and also only three different painted Mantras. I don't remember any more how many different painted Dorbels there were, maybe six or seven?
In any event, other than Dorbels it seems like historically he has not released a whole lot of different paints for his more-kaiju-type pieces.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
I think there were 4 Mr. Bumper colorways. Red cowl, green cowl, purple Jurevicius, and grayscale.
I'm aware of the blue with purple head Mantra and the yellow with blue head Mantra. Was there a third colorway?
I think there were 6 different Dorbel colorways.
Jiva had two colorways that I'm aware of.
You're right that there usually isn't a great number of colorways of his toys, but neither does he usually release unpainted versions. The release of the unpainted black and orange figures may be a first for Woodring's toys. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I once saw a flesh colored Mantra, but I think it was a prototype and not a regular release.

There are only two Mantra paint variations that I've seen, plus a flesh colored test shot of it.

I remember being crushed that I missed my chance on ordering one. But since then, the smaller sets have come out and I'm happy with those, especially as space is always an issue and I had terrible luck with the large Biskup Ghonner. Correct! My wife ordered it and its the last toy we would ever sell if we had to. And to make things worse the mold was damaged and with the cost Presspop said they will never remake them.

Tim was kind enough to take it back and offer a refund. Future ones are supposedly going to be done in fiberglass.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
The pupshaw/pushpaw figures that are coming out are going to be made with new molds. I can't quite tell the difference in size between the 2 pupshaw's. This is one set I can't wait to get in hand.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
I think this is very cool; can't wait for the full reveal. Yes, definitely different from the clean, compartmentalized colors on all other Jim toys- but this guy is sculpturally different, too, far less symmetrical than his kin. He's gonna look great standing with the rest of them, a cousin from a particularly exotic corner of the Unifactor.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
Yeah, I don't recall any fades and "compartmentalized" is a good way to describe the previous paint styles. Almost like a bridge or nexus between his earlier toys and Japanese toys.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
I still think the Dorbel's first colorway is the best "western artist doing kaiju" is the closest thing to the real deal out there.

 Re: New Woodring/Presspop collaboration.
I've been looking for some word on the Lorbos, and I'm glad to see others are at least in the same boat. I ordered them by email months ago and still haven't received an invoice. I ordered the Giant Pupshaw set too...seen nothing since the original confirmation.
