 Re: Cronic Collections
I like the contrast of these Cronics. The green one on the left was released last month. The one on the right was released a couple of years ago. Playing around with a new tripod:

 Re: Cronic Collections
Thanks! Can the Nougaki heads out there have a look at the set and LMK if you see any mistakes. Also, if you can help ID the Unidentifieds, that would be a big help. Finally, I know I'm missing a bunch (like the unpainted clear 2008 SDCC figures), so pls feel free to list any missing Noug's. I want the list to be complete, even if I don't have photos for some of them. The set is now up on KK: http://kaijukorner.blogspot.com/2007/10 ... klist.html

 Re: Cronic Collections
There's three Pachi Kaiju Nougakis that were clear with pipe beads inside them. I think a Blue, a Pink and a Yellow. Then there's the unpainted Green and unpainted Purple from SDCC...that may be it...
so that would make 43 total...jeepers...

so that would make 43 total...jeepers... Yeah. Those were from the 2006 Fall Patchi-Summit. I think I saw an auction for all three once, but couldn't remember for sure. Thanks for confirming that there are two others (I was the one that bought the blue bead version from hiro). Btw, your Unidentified 7 looks exactly like the blue bead version, minus the beads. Unidentified 2 is from the last WHF, an Inazuman homage. Unidentified 3 is from the set sold with the first Dorome, website sale. Unidentified 6 is from the same show (WF 2006, Summer) as the painted clear pink version. In the package, the jewels were left unapplied. You may know this, but the clear purple and clear green painted versions from 2008 SDCC are a tribute to Dokuro King and Amazon Rider, respectively.

 Re: Cronic Collections
Good info, thanks. I've added the new info to the flickr set. I've also reorganized the photos according to order of release.
I've got a photo showing that there were 4 clear w/plastic bits versions released at that Pachi Sami. A YJA auction for all 4 went for extremely cheap, since it was mismarked. Found out about it after the fact. The 4th is all clear w/plastic bits.
So here are the ones missing from the flickr set:
- 4 Pachi Samis - Thrashout exclusive (blue with silver) - I might have a photo of this one lying around - 2008 SDCC clear purple - 2008 SDCC clear green - Grumble toys (I'll have this one pretty soon)
Anything else? (I'm not counting one-offs, but I think there were a few short-runs in the Mix Boxes, no?)
Just realized I haven't got release info for the ones marked Painted Orange (Rotofugi, was it?) and Unpainted GID. Any ideas?
I'm also taking shots of the backs of every figure. They'll be up there when the database goes live on KK.

 Re: Cronic Collections
Nice database. I had no idea there were so many.... Painted Orange is indeed the Rotofugi Exclusive. There was also an unpainted orange as part of the same release:

 Re: Cronic Collections
Cheers. You know I wasn't sure if that unpainted was released or not. I have one, but it's kind of customized by Naoki, so I didn't add it to the database. (Pretty soon I'm going to start begging people for pics of the figures I don't have. I'd really like this database to be as complete as possible.)
Do you remember the month of the Rotofugi release, by any chance?

 Re: Cronic Collections
Awesome - January 2008. Got it!
I've shot the backs of all the figures. Now I just need to type up the list and put everything up on KK. Tons of photos (nearly 80) so I'm going to bury it on a back page and add a post with a link on the front page.
If anyone has front/back shots of these figures, please shoot me a note:
- 4 Pachi Samis - 2008 SDCC clear purple - 2008 SDCC clear green - Rotofugi (unpainted orange)
There are also still a few unidentifieds on the flickr acct. Any Nougaki collectors out there - please have a look and share the info!

 Re: Cronic Collections
Whew, after a good bit of doin', the Nougaki Checklist is live! http://kaijukorner.blogspot.com/2007/10 ... klist.htmlI've identified every version except for the unpainted GID (no keychain) and the unpainted clear. I'm guessing they're both 2006 releases, but it anyone has any specific info, please let me know. I also still need front/back photos for: ___ Clear with Blue beads (Pachi Sami May 2007) ___ Clear with Pink beads (Pachi Sami May 2007) ___ Clear with Orange beads (Pachi Sami May 2007) ___ Clear with Clear beads (Pachi Sami May 2007) ___ Unpainted Clear Green (SDCC July 2008) ___ Unpainted Clear Purple (SDCC July 2008) Thanks to everyone who has helped out. I hope it will be a good resource for Nougaki lovers!

 Re: Cronic Collections
Thanks! Zyurai is one of my favorites. I hope folks dig the Noug databank. I've always felt that it's an underrated figure. There are so many oustanding versions of the little guy. Selekta - I think I'll hold off on doing a checklist for Ankoron. I've only got 10 or so, and there are so many versions out there already. Plus, so many short runs and limited secret releases, it's hard to keep track!

Damn, that's the first mixbox Zyurai I've seen...nice score max! Looks like it matches the Autumn Bakurasu really well.
