OH SHIT! I'm looking at my Mook and at this and I gotta say it looks the same as the original Brown Booska. I was kinda hoping my memory was wrong, but looking at the Mook MORI SAY IT AINT SO! REISSUES SUCK! JUST MAKE IT A MINI! Someone please prove me wrong.

Similar but not the same. The crest is yellow and the arm bands are painted black.

Hard to tell from those pics whether the crests are different, happily the wristbands are more apparent.
But still, this is far closer to a 'reissue' than any painted RxH I can recall before.

I wonder a) Why?, b) Why choose this particular one to reissue?, and c) Why now?

OTOH, I'm not sure I have one of the 'original' brown-Booska Heads, so personally this might be good news.

Hmmm it's prety darn close though. Seems to be about a 95% reissue. Too close for comfort, I'm nto into the OG so I have no reason to buy this one either, but still, I hope it stops here.

hmmm... I wonder how many of the OG brown booska head was made? maybe Mori thought there were too few and wanted to spread more love?

not sure about this new head yet. so far i don't have any brown figure in my collection. this might be the first. i would like to see better pictures.

Having seen both the OG Brown Booska and Brown Booska 2 along side each other, these are clearly 2 versions.
The first clear difference is Brown Booska 2 wristband is masked and OG is hand-sprayed.
The fin on the OG is gold and on ver 2 is yellow.
The spots on the OG is darker.
Ver 2 is unpainted brown vinyl vs painted brown all over for OG.
Mori-san also confirmed they are different versions. ver 2 is NOT a reissue.
For casual collectors, they may appear close enough.
Personally, i think its not bad an idea for ver 2 since you can probably count the number of OGs with your fingers.
Casual collectors can have a brown booska in their booska collection and i am pretty sure serious hardcore collectors will continue to pursue the impossible OG.

OG will always be OG. I'm glad he put one out for the rest of us.

I'm a little late to the party here...do we know (at all) when this Akro (and of course the white Borg) will be available via S7 or some other stateside venue?

not sure if it was an in store exclusive but they have them in stock. you might be able to call them to get one since there not on the webstore?

No, it's not an exclusive, but everything in-stock at TT (or S7 or many of our other favs) isn't always online.

im pretty sure super7 will have them up on the webstore soon.
