The black ink splatter and white/gold really bring to mind traditional Japanese artwork (i.e., Noh masks or sumi-e painting). Different than the Walder homage, but quite nice in its own way. That... I have to agree that the splatter on this looks exactly like those Japanese traiditional art... very un-walder and Its growing on me...

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
These are so awesome! Best colorway for sure. Does anyone have pics of the bling version? Anyone lucky enough to score one?

Oh man. I didn't know about the bling version. If I get that one, I'll prolly trade for the regular or splatter version.

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
Got the regular also. Its a nice variety of vinyl colors and paints. Was hoping for a splattered or blinged version but still very happy with the purchase.

No bling, but I am glad I got the regular & not the splatter. Also managed to snag a gid dragon skullbrain - I thought those were all gone.

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
I am really sad I didn't get one of these. If there is a splatter bling, that will be my favorite.

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
maybe its the lighting but besides the splatter, does the variant have a much softer white and less accents then the regular version? I like the splatter ok, but much prefer the regular as I feel the colorway was perfect and did not need anymore added to it... now it just looks a little too busy and you really lose the dynamics of the color and accents on the mask. Re: DBM Blue Glow
There is no black spray on the mask, at least in those shots, probably because it would dillute the splatter. I'm glad I didn't buy one now, I'd freak out if I didn't have all three versions. I could live without the FC ones, but not regular releases. The two pumpkin masks took me so long to get both.

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
the regular version is better than the splatter one imo definitely the best one out of the bunch so far

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
I think there are def. color differences....alone the eyes of the regular one are painted with a black/dark brown color that is missing(or not painted) on the splatter one..... also like the regular one better- a MUST HAVE ! but I think if you have the regular one, you also NEED the splatter one

I would like another cool variation soon though . . . the Pumpkin-mask is throwing the shelf symmetry for a loop!

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
I'm off for my showdown with Parcelfarce this evening, I have a thing or 8 to say to them, and I fully intend to walk away with at least 2 new additions to my collection. One of which being a DBM, I really like this guy, can't wait! If any one is having shelf symmetry issues, I can watch over your pumpkin mask for a while

Got the regular version yesterday, looks awesome. Seems like the horns protruding from the bag were standard on these.

 Re: DBM Blue Glow
My horns weren't sticking out, just a bit bent, nothing some heat couldn't take care of.... But, may I present to you...... Bada - BLING!!!! I really like him! Waaaaay cooler in person, esp the way the light reflects off the eyes, quite transfixing to be honest. oh yeah, so is everyone's bag different? Overall, this guy kicks some serious ass!
