 Re: Kaws x Wonderwall Figures
Considering that the guy's last "artistic effort" actually was poop on a stick I can't say I'm too surprised by this. What baffles me though is that the shirt is even uglier than the "toy" itself...

 Re: Kaws x Wonderwall Figures
It's, like, a terrible toy.
There is nothing original or interesting about a wall with shoes. If that toy didn't have the "x'es" on it, you wouldn't be interested in it. I can't say completely, but pretty sure that could be a fact. This is proof positive that most of the people who buy this are only doing so because the Kaws name is attached to it. Hell, that guy could market enemas with XX on the box and people would buy them. Hype, hype, hype...for NOTHING. Shitty toys are shitty toys no matter who makes it.
Explain to me what is interesting about it. And no one word answers...no "that's rad" either. I'd love to hear someone tell me what it is about THAT version above that is so fantastic.
I like some of his toys, but seriously...I don't know why he didn't add headphones and a spray can to it. The spray can, in this instance, might have made a little more sense and gave the figure a little more depth.

Let's all get ready for the "But in this case less is MORE" type bullshit argument from someone. "It's BECAUSE it's crap that makes it an amazing and simple expression of graphic blahblahblahblahrepeatwhatIheardinartschoolblah, broseph!"
Can this even be called a toy? Really? Can I call the paper clips at my desk toys now too? Or the coffee cup I'm drinking from? In the name of "art" even?

Yes, the only folks interested in this figure are those that will be flipping it on Evilbay.
What a waste of vinyl!

In the name of "art" even? yeah, i don't know why i even bothered posting that. someone is going to make some stupid comment about existentialism in relation to that stupid toy and i'm going to want to throw my computer out the window when i read it. Nevermind. enjoy your stupid toy...buy one of those poops on a stick while you're at it. obviously he can sell you anything.

 Re: Kaws x Wonderwall Figures
I'm certainly not insinuating that it's his best work (far from it). The shit-on-a-stick (which I own, and enjoy) destroys it. My problem with that guy's (saiko?) statement is that he is clearly saying that KAWS fans are sheep. Which is a bullshit blanket statement.
I'd enjoy seeing which [expletive deleted] he (saiko?) has in his collection...

 Re: Kaws x Wonderwall Figures
Haha. this thing makes Ron English's lucy look like a slam dunk. And this probably will sell out instantly, and that's actually funny in a really ironic way. I'm really surprised more people don't come down on KAWS for being so opportunistic with his fans in this way.

I see what you did there. You altered my quote to serve your juvenile purposes. Very clever.
